OK...we need a Wacky Wednesday today. I found something a bit different to do. Let's see how it goes. It's the “Have you ever” game. You are to go to the last person''s post and answer that person’s question. A short or long answer is up to you. Then you post the next question. Here's an example:

(This would be at the bottom of the last post)
Have you ever... climbed a tree and were afraid to get down?

(the next person answers) Yes, when I was about 5 years old I got to the top of a 40 foot tree and the fire department had to get me down...lol

(now you ask the next question)
Have you ever.... laugh at a joke you didn't get?
(Sign your name and you're done)

(the next person to post will answer the above question and then ask the next question)
You may play more than once or however often you'd like. The more, the funnier. let’s see how we go…I'll start...

Have you ever:
dropped your book in the tub?

Chutzie, This might be fun! Yes, I have dropped my book in the tub before. It used to be the only place I could find peace enough to read a book. It was my quiet time. I remember how aggravated I was at the time.

My question would be: Have you ever been to the checkout line, had your groceries totaled and then discovered you didn't have your debit card, money or a check with you?

Anice,

Yes, this happened to me once...the feeling is like getting hit in the stomach with a tree trunk....all time stands still for the moment and then reality hits....lucky for me I live 5 minutes away and was able to go home and get my debit card before my frozen stuff thawed lol!

Staying on the same subject have you ever come out of the grocery store, load your car with your items, get in, turn your key and your car won't start?

Happened to me on Sunday and it was 105 sunny degrees here in Phoenix!!

It's been awhile but absolutely! Hate remembering that feeling, and it usually was in front of others (of course).

Ok -

Have you ever "lost" your car in the mall parking lot, or not remembered which level you parked on even though you swore to yourself you made a mental note of where you parked?

Yes!  I was at work and I usually park in the lot instead of on the street.  I parked on the street and later thought my car had been stolen!!  Thank goodness I remembered before calling the police!!

Have you ever gotten the giggles in an inappropriate situation?

YES....when I was younger I had the awful habit of laughing at very serious and dire times. I was a young teen when President Kennedy what shot. It was NOT funny. I went into the girls bathroom and everyone in there was sobbing. It seemed so silly to me...they didn't know him...and I burst out laughing. I couldn't control it and my best friend was laughing right along with me. <blush>

Have you ever had a really bad date? < oh jeez...this one might warm things up...lol>

I guess I'll take the hit to keep this thread going...
Yes, when I was a senior in high school, this guy who I had recently befriended asked me out on a date to go see a movie. What he didn't tell me until that day was that his mother had to pick us up, drop us off, and then come back after the movie to pick us up because he didn't have his drivers license (even though he was 18). (My mom actually ended up picking us up from the theater, because according to him, it was 'only fair' that one drove one time, and the other drove the next). I was annoyed because I could have driven, and instead, the whole way to the theater (30+ min) I had to listen to his mother talking about how her son had been talking to their family about me & how they all thought that we would have really nice children (I had only been friendly with the guy for a few weeks, and I really didn't care for him as more than a friend)! Talk about horrifying. Then during the movie, the fire alarm went off TWICE & we had to wait a total of an hour & a half outside for the firemen to come and check it out (if I had had my car, I would have just left). And did I mention that this guy had the worst body odor ever? I don't know if that's just the way he was/he couldn't help it, or he just never showered, but it was disgusting. Driving in the car with him on the way back, my mom had to open all the windows of the car & when we dropped him off she asked me what that awful smell was.

okay here's mine.
Have you ever gone to work/out in public still wearing your slippers?

ok Skeye...I am laughing so hard...I can't help but butt in...lmbo I can so relate to the 'yucky' smell and going out with a guy when you were just barely friends. Oh Lordy, the memories.

And the answer is yes once, and darn close several times. It was one of my nightmares in school that I would forget to change to shoes and be at school in my slippers...lol

Have you ever fallen in love at first sight?

Yes!!!  But alas......it turned out to be lust at first sight.  He was the most gorgeous guy I had ever dated.  I honestly did not see what he saw in me (plain jane type).  All my friends were agog over him.  He lasted all of three weeks.  He was horrible!!!  He drank way too much then would argue and wouldn't let me drive until I threatened to call a cab or worse, my dad.  I ended up marrying the goofiest guy that I ever dated........have been married for twenty happy years.

Ok, hummmmmmmm...... have you ever fallen asleep either at school or at work?

This is fun, a nice change, and something I really needed today. Okay back to the question... Yes, I have fallen asleep at school AND at work. I think everyone in high school slept some from time to time. I wasn't a regular, but I did a few times. And Yes I have even done that at work.Several years ago, I had to go to a computer class, the lights were off, watching a video, of all things, and I went to sleep. It was in a time in my life that I was getting very little sleep. Anyway the lights came back on but I didn't wake up!!! I could hear the guy talking, but I just could not open my eyes. I was sooo embarassed. I thought that I would be reported and lose my job!!! No one ever found out. And I am still with the same job. Luckily we don't do those classes anymore!!!

ok....Have you ever had a overdraft at the bank that ended up costing huge fees?
