Wow....after a 3 day weekend Tuesday feels like a Monday around here. smilewinkgrin Hubby and I packed the trailer and headed to the beach for the weekend. We so very much needed some brain rest. Ahhh, and it helped! We always eat good too when we go camping. It's our 'treat' time. One day we drove to town for a few groceries and on the way home we had the best store bought cookies for lunch...then when we got back to camp we had crackers, fruit and cheese for shocked Why not start with dessert??? You just never

We all have favorite foods and combinations that often come from our families. I remember my mother used to eat sardine sandwiches. Actually they weren't bad and over time I joined her. They consisted of buttered white bread, line up some tiny sardines from those flat, rectangular tins, add mustard to the last slice of tread, slap that baby together and voila'...instant sardine sandwich. Yumm-O! She also used to make cold pork and bean sandwiches often topped with dill pickle slices...homemade of course. And those dill pickle and peanut butter sandwiches. Ya, no thanks! Sorta turns my stomach on those last two. We all have foods we eat and don't think them strange at all until someone makes a comment or asks WHY you are eating that?? shocked Customs, cultures and just fun make eating more yummy. So, today's "fill in the blank" is.....

.My favorite unusual food combination is: ______________________

I think I mentioned this before but I don't drink milk or use it much other than for cooking. I put Orange Juice on cereal! I really like it on Sugar frosted flakes, Grape Nuts, and Raisin Brand, and my all time favorite is OJ on Cranberry Almond Crunch! It just doesn't get any better than that!

P.S. Lindaloo over in Holland they put a warm Peanut Butter over french fries! It is fantastic!MMMMM Good!
