I know how we all love food topics so we just have to have one each week. So this week is.... What's your favorite midnight snack?

I never ever used to eat during the night. It just didn't appeal to me. But over the last 6 months or so when I'm up with awful pain there's something about a bowl of cereal and cold milk that's very soothing. But, it started to add some pounds to this body that certainly doesn't need had to quit that delight. Sheesh... But I do have my cold cereal for breakfast and once in a while it's a snack at bed time if I've had a light supper.

Are you a night snacker and what do YOU like to eat?

If you ask what is the single most important key to longevity, I would have to say it is avoiding worry, stress and tension. And if you didn't ask me, I'd still have to say it.

I'm going to post quickly and then avoid this thread! Due to my new condition with Barrett's esophagus, I am not supposed to eat for 3-4 hours before bedtime!!!!!!

Now THAT is trauma.

Please, all of you enjoy a bedtime snack for me! Just don't tell me about it! :-)

Tea and toast
TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood

I try not to do this too often. My husband always eats before going to sleep. Usually, I can refrain. But when I want something-peanut butter and jelly,or grilled cheese or a bowl of cereal. For some reason, food tastes better late at night.

I love my butter flavored popcorn and caffeine free diet coke. My favorite snack at midnight. I don't eat it all the time. As a matter of fact its only once or twice a month, but it is great when I am hungry late at night. I am usually grazing all day and night so at midnight I'm not always hungry. Besides a lot of times I am just asleep early.

Thanks for the great topic, Chutz.

Believe in yourself.  Be kind to fellow humans and animals.  Take time to smell the flowers and the coffee.
And by all means, when you are down, ask me for help.  I will be there.
