My pain is excruciating, and I was on vicoden for years, It has helped me to live. Where other meds did not. This is my 4th day, and I hurt so bad. The PM doc put me on 25 mg Lyrica, and 25 mg. meloxicam. I am waiting for relief. Thes past days,OK,I was off from work. Tomorrow I go back. It is a physical job. I hope it does not get screwed up.
I did not abuse my vicodens,4-5 a day, no more. I made sure of that, and I still had some pain, but it has helped to dull my pain and let me fuction. Why do the doctors feel the need to get people off vicodens, prcocets, etc, if they are working to help the pain?

I'm kinda confused why he took you off them all??? Did he feel you were taking to many if so he could of just decreased you amounts.

Welcome to HW. Hope you stay with us. Its a holiday weekend so have patience on the return posting. Everyone is out doing there holiday events mine doesn't start for a few hours.

Doctors are getting alot of heat about pain medications. There are a few threads active right now on the FDA, it seems like they are really starting to pick on pain meds.
