This is the third day of this migraine and I'm about to scream. Actually, screaming would be to painful, now that I think about it. I will be so glad to get this shoulder surgery finished because I think that this is having a great affect on my headaches. One week from tomorrow......yeah! Absolutely nothing...and I mean nothing has worked for relief of this one. Not even the Imetrex. At  least I'm not vomiting which is a blessing. I hope everyone is having a better day than I am.

Nurse2, three days in a row, ouch! I am so sorry that you are having to endure this. A week away, it is getting closer. I sure hope that you don't have to wait that long to get rid of the head ache. I will pray that you get some relief tonight.

Hold on <extending hand> ... you will make it girlfriend! Try to have something different to focus on each day. Maybe someone can bring you something from the library like a pile of your favorite books, movies or music cd's. Organize your pictures and maybe start scrapbooking them. If you're like me you have piles of recipes around that need to be tidied up...each day have something fun to look forward to. May help keep your mind busy.

Nurse2 -
I don't have migraines, but my mother does and seeing what she goes through with them you have to be super human to deal with it that long. I hope today brings some relief for you.

Take care,
Bill

Nurse2, I am so sorry to hear that your headache has lasted for so long. Bless your heart. Migraines are the worst. I have them too. But I have never had one to last that long! I do hope that your headache is gone today. If not , I would suggest calling your doctor. Maybe you can go in the office for an injection. Or the doctor can call the ER with the order and you can go there for the injection. You shouldn't have to indur a headache for that long! I hope you get relief soon. Please keep us posted. I will be thinking about you.

And I hope that your surgery goes well next week and brings you good results. You will be in my thoughts.

   Dear Nurse2,

Good morning *huggs* Good to see you. I am excited for you! One week! Though I cant imagine that the headache is going to help time go by. I am afraid I dont know any remedies for migranes. I knew a young lady hers "seemed" to last about a week.  shakehead

Do you have everything ready for surgery? Do you have some meals frozen? Extra hobbie supplies? So close already! Try to realx and know your in our hearts and prayers  :-)

I can't say more than others have said, but I hope that headache is subsiding. I know besides hurting, they are exhausting!

Today the headache is almost gone. I say my rheumy today and she still feels that I am having a horrible flare of my fibro. Whatever it is , I don't like it. She would like to enroll me into this program that was just started there and is just for fibro patients. It's twice a week for an hour and a half. It is a very limited program so I have to send in my papers soon to see if I get accepted. The only problem is that I live 2 hrs. away from where the program is held. My husband wants me to go for it and at least try it and it if it is too much I can always drop out. I'm not sure what to do .....we still watch our 3 yr. old granddaughter while my daughter goes to college and both of my parents are not well and I try to look after them. I don't know how I could work this in.'

Lotsa Dotsa,
I fell in Jan. and tore my rotator cuff and labrin which basically holds the joint together. I've torn the same one before and had surgery about 4yrs. ago. I wish the doctor would just replace the shoulder because of all the arthritis. He was having a hard time making up his mind about which route to take but decided to clean everything out and fix the tear. Knowing me, I will have to have the shoulder replaced next year.
Hope you feel better..
