See? Sounds better already  nono   But I will be glad when im no longer a toothless wonder nono   Crazyness I tell you. Would have never thought in a million years I would experience this at 29. You have a wonderful sense of humor Dani! I hope it translates to great days in the future for you. It appears that the big grin smilie you used in your post only has 3 teeth, so you are .5 up on him.

29?!?!? Wow, that is a tough pill to swallow (so to say...). I do believe that with your positive attitude you will lead a wonderful life. I can't wait to hear about how you are sharing your outer smile with others as you do your inner one!

Hi Dani:

I just wanted to tell you that I just love you, you always make me smile no matter how down I am.

I am going through the process of loosing all of my teeth and getting partial dentures.  I have only 3 teeth left on top (& actually it is 2 with a dummy tooth in between), and 7 teeth on the bottom - all have been root canaled and have crowns on them.

I got my partials about 2 weeks ago, and one spot hurt me so badly that I didn't even make it home from the dentists office before I had to rip them out of my mouth.  I haven't been able to get back to get them adjusted, so here I sit still the toothless wonder.

My doctor's/dentist tell me that all of the vomitting I did through the entire 9 months of all three pregnancies, as well as the horrible vomitting I did for a year while they were trying to figure out that I had gastroparesis combined with the pain meds which dry your mouth out terribly, it just became a loosing battle.  I was getting abcess after abcess, and they just became unsalvageable.

I envy your ability to get the implants.  If I could afford them, I would have went that route, but my dentist said it would be about $30,000.00 - too steep for me.

I hope you are all fixed up soon!

We All Love You Dani!!!!!
So sorry about your toof problems! I am loosing mine one by one also! My dentist says it's from old crashes when I was young (like all my other problems!) My teeth have small cracks running through them and they end up splitting right up the middle to the top of the root! No way to save them then! Crazy how all these things I did back when I was young come back to haunt me>us!
Keep posting> I too enjoy your humor!!!

Dear Lori,

     Good Mornin! *huggs*

We've decided dummy tooths count for a .5! hehe No sense in leavin the little guys out!  smilewinkgrin

I had to go gett re casted again and he told me ".. maybe, just maybe.. could save a few of the bottom ones" I was so excited on the inside! yeah   I have to see him AGAIN next week, so I will know then smilewinkgrin

Oh! Oh no! Yuck! You were stuck with pregnancies like that? Oh! I had a friend who was sick the whole time too. I got the impression she would have gladly traded my pinched nerves for the vomiting in a heart beat! That HAD to be hard.

I am not sure if there is a "lucky" or "good" way to loose your teeth, but literally from march til now.. nearly all gone. Only part I dislike so far, is that I keep forgetting my teeth are gone! So I keep smiling and  I get the "Oh my gosh" looks! and then... try not to laff at their horror faces? HAHAHAHAHA

I did recently get an 'answer" as to why things are crumbling. The odd endocronologist fellow said soemthing about my calicum being 0.002... "I will need more tests in a few months" I'm guess smaller isnt better... But still not so bad really, only one pill a week. That is it. maybe I could keep those last few afterall ? That would be kinda cool..... have some extra cash for beading supplies! WooOOT!

I am having a mini implant system put in. It was the only option I could afford on such short notice. Even that is.... astounding cost. The dental insurace guys were a joke!

"You can only have 1 xray per year"
"But ive lost 4 more teeth in just this last week..."
"Only after the proper information is submitted after the procedure will we cover a maximum of $1,000.00"
"Did you get the part where I said they are ALL falling off.. not just one special little snowflake...?"

They didnt like my humor    devil

I can't wait for the photo album, Dani! I hope the time flies by for you, and that you get some compassion from the insurance folks. I cannot complain too much about how mine has been so far, but I am sure I have red flags in my files!

Take care of you today!

Dani,
You are an inspiration keeping your sense of humor and smile through all this! Don't get me started on the dental insurance people. Of course my appeal was denied on my root canal since, as they tell me, it's not the date of symptoms and the work on the tooth started but date of coverage, and that's over. Gone. History. Dead and buried. Sorry, no coverage lady. So now I'm trying to negotiate with the dentist for the root canal he has to do on Monday. I am not going to tell this guy that I have no intention of ever paying him any more than he would have received from the insurance (I already got the code and the amount from the insurance company). Don't want an angry dentist drilling on me.

But I called all around and no dentist gives payment plans on this. They have this thing here called "Care Credit" which is like applying for a credit card. Well, what if your credit is in the tank like mine because of financial problems? No compassion anywhere with these guys, not that I've found. So I'm truly scared for the future as my teeth ain't getting any younger just like the rest of me! LOL

Dani - you gotta tell me how to get that little green smiley face in the chat room!!! Or do you want it all to yourself? (Maybe it's a special "Dani" icon?) :-)
