Hello PNMorlando,

Welcome to Healing Well. I saw your inital post on another members topic and I wanted to tell you welcome aboard. Normally a new member starts their own thread here and does sort of an intro of themselves. Otherwise stuck in someone else's posting you may be overlooked and not properly. We do like to welcome all new members. lol  I am very sorry to hear about all the medical problems you have going on but fortunately by finding us we are like one big extended family that tries to help each other out. Since I have started this thread for you perhaps you can give everyone a little quick intro about yourself. We do have some other gentlemen on the forum and its so great getting to hear their side of things on how they deal with CP.

It sounds like you are headed for a rather big surgery and I sure hope they can get some of this all straightened out so that you can have some sort of quality of life. Thats just so important for people like us. Any ideas as to when they may entertain the thoughts of scheduling your surgery. I know alot of re-do's are quite successful considering everything. Your situation sounds very much like you have no alternative and I do wish you well.

I am one of the night owls here at the forum alot of my postings are late at night or in the wee hours. My sleep patterns are alot to be desired. I am working on trying to get that turned around.

I do hope you will hang out with us here. We have a terrific group of people and they will be on tomorrow morning popping in & out. Please keep us posted on how you are doing.

Hi PN and welcome to our family. We are a ray of sunshine is a gray sky of pain. I often hang out in the fibromyalgia forum because that's where the majority of my pain comes from but in here is where people truly understand the word Pain. I'm sure you'll find some great ideas, tips and most important of all some friends who will not only understand what you are going through but will be beside you with a broad shoulder to lean on when you need it. It's what we do here...hold each other up and together.

Hugs,

If you ask what is the single most important key to longevity, I would have to say it is avoiding worry, stress and tension. And if you didn't ask me, I'd still have to say it.
