I hope you all reading and/or writing to this section. There are lots and lots of reads for the Koffee Klatch every day. I hope those who are reading will feel comfortable joining in and posting their ideas here also. Everyone is welcome whether or not they are someone who deals with Chronic Pain and/or Fibromyalgia.

I think at one time or another all of us have thought we had a story to tell, or a book to write. We have ideas for a novel or there is something we would love to share with the world. If you were to write a book about anything, what would it be about?

I think I would write about the history of my family. There is extensive research already done on my dad's family name but I also have a lot of knowledge of some individuals who are on those pages. It would be fun to make them come to life as I knew some of them. Most were wonderful and hard working people, some were, shall we say unique...lol, and yet others were just plain rotten. Yep, I'd share it all and enjoy every minute of it. Then I would print it and send it off to the family members whom I love...which are numerous. This book would not likely make any best seller list but it would warm my heart and I know my father would have enjoyed it and been very proud of the efforts.

What book would YOU write? A novel? Something technical? Maybe you'd share your love of a skill or craft you have? And what would be the title of your book? Mine may be "Believe it or Not" but I think that's already taken...

When I was a kid, I always said I was going to write a book about our family's misadventures some day. My dad was a bit of a bumbling do-it-yourselfer. He always got the job done, but sometimes it was like watching a comedy show while he did it. He traveled through the week, and had a habit of showing up when he returned on Friday with a "surprise."

One time it was two bushels of grapefruit. Another it was three big gunny sacks of crawfish on ice. Another time shrimp. Dealing with all that bounty was hysterical. Then there was the time we had company from up north and we all went crabbing. When we got back, my dad had a couple of beers, then wanted to show the company something about the crabs. He ended up tipping the whole basket of live crabs out on the patio. We had crabs scuttling everywhere!

Ah, good times...

   Dear Chutz,

I think I would like to put all my jewlery sketches into a book one day with pictures of how they turned out.  Guess a picture book? LOL
