As a former mod myself (not here), I feel like every negative comment deserves a positive one. There is no purpose to this thread except to share any positive comments, praise, or well wishes for our wonderful mods.

So ... to Susie, Stella, White Beard & Hello Kitty, thanks for all your hard work! :) This Forum has been such a wonderful place & I truly appreciate the tireless (often thankless) hours of hard work you pour into trying to make this a safe, happy, healthy, helpful place for the rest of us.

Wishing you & your families a wonderful day & praying that you're blessed with a day of less pain,

I think the Moderator's do a very good job and wanted to say Thank You!
being a moderator is hard as they do have families and their own medical issues to deal with...
Thanks for being the volunteers here to keep this place on track and running....

Ditto to everything that's been said - but we've got to add Lindaloo, too!

One of the reasons I haven't volunteered to become a moderator is that I don't want to take on the work. So I appreciate very much all the work the moderators - and the administrator, Peter Waite - do to keep this forum as great as it is.

Peter sure had the right "formula" when he set this up, which is unlike most other forums I've stumbled upon (and haven't stayed long with!).

Group hug to all the mods!!

Hi there, I have to say this, my name is Stella Marie! Is this for real? I have never in my life found another Stella Marie.
Diag. 2005, Severe Flare Up for a YEAR, Remission for 2 years, no maintanance, I was really convinced the Doctors made the wrong diagnosis. Live in the country and had really contaminated well water when my husband and I moved into our new house. 40 times over the potable guide lines in Canadian drinking water. So I Didnt even look into the disease, I healed (or so I thought) and was told nothing from the Doctors at the time.
Came back like a VENGENCE in Sept 08 and have been bleeding since. Sept 09' Currently on Plain Yogurt, Multi Enzymes, Vit. D, Mulit Vit, Florastore, Aciddophillus, Asacol 2 - 3x a day with Salofalk suppository morning and night.
I rarely eat carbs, grow almost all my vegetables and fruits for Summer and Fall ONLY.
Everything else organic, I never add refined sugar to anything, sometimes unpasturerized honey. I rarely drink coffee, no Cows milk, only Almond milk. Had my gallbladder out a year before diagnosis and quit smoking a month before first Flare Up in 2005.
FYI: Prednisone turned me into a sweating Pyscho Clean EVERYthing Woman, even when I was sitting on the toilet I would ask my husband to pass me a broom so I keep sweep sitting on my throne. lol!
I dont want to go back on it.

I am a new one on the scene as a mod but I have to agree with everyone here, the mods have done a wonderful job keeping this place safe for all of us. I have been around HW a long time, and as PaLday pointed out, Peter Waite is someone that truly needs to be thanked for putting HW together. Bless Peter for coming up with the idea, look at all the friends we have now.

I will never be able to give back to HW what it has given to me over the years. My purpose of helping out is to try and give some pf that back and maybe even pay a little forward.

HW was my first forum I had ever visited in my time of need. It fulfilled my needs and I never had to go anywhere else to get the answers I may have needed. I first started on the crohns forum and then flipped back & forth between here & there.
Moderator Chronic Pain
