If you are new to this forum family then you may be wondering what kind of goofy question is that on a health care forum. idea We all suffer with medical conditions and with most of us there is pain involved...sometimes a lot of pain. Or maybe you are the loved one of one of these persons. This forum is all about how we help and support each other, how we gain back more quality to our lives, and how we can learn and share what we gain along the way and hopefully make not only our lives better but the lives of others who come to join us.

But we need to also remember that there is the other side of life...the side that isn't concentrated on illness and pain. That's why we started the daily Koffee Klatch. This is a time to laugh, reminisce, chit-chat about the silly things in our lives...all fun things and no pain. In fact the 'P' word is not allowed... tongue So each day we share our thoughts or experiences on a different topic. Often it includes food, sometimes we talk about our past, and other times we just get goofy! Laughter is our goal. So, please join us whether this is your very first day on Healing Well or you're a seasoned veteran.
(sure do miss you Miss Chutz! I hope your having fun!)
If you could travel to ANYWHERE in the world, where would you go?
I would go to Egypt. I have never had the oppertunity to travel quite so far, yet. I have always been fascinated by its rich histroy, culture and endless mysteries. I often find myself engrossed in television shows on the "History and Discovery" channels. I hope one day to go, but, am very happy with just "learning" from afar aswell. :-)
      Where would you go?

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood

Well, it's not actually in this world, but I'd love to go to the moon. Imagine how fun it would be to step on a scale and only weighing about 25 lbs. I could actually run and jump and still move the next day. I could walk all day without getting tired. Sleeping would actually be fun, no pressure points, just resting lightly on the mattress. I could carry all of my luggage with one hand and jump up to get things off the top shelf. I could rearrange the furniture whenever I wanted to. I could stand on my head and do backflips.

If I have to limit it to this world, I'd go to Scotland. It looks like such a beautiful country and I love the accent. Sean Connery could read me the phone book and I'd swoon. I plan to skip the haggis though. It doesn't sound very tempting.

My dream would be to visit all of the states in the United States!  I went to Italy in the 70's and at that time if you didn't speak the language,  I felt alot of interactions were very rude!  I made a decision then I'd rather see our Country then go out of the Country!  Before CP and the financial crisis we are living, my hubby and I were making weekend trips doing just that.  confused SOMEDAY!

Wow, it's hard to pick one place! If I could go anywhere, I think it would be to Sicily. I saw a PBS special a year or so ago of Italy and Sicily, and there's this one ancient amphitheater on the edge of the island (Sicily) that fascinated me. It would be like climbing a mountain to get to it (I think there are like a gazillion steps to get there) so I'd probably need a helicopter drop!! But it looked awesome!

But there are many places in the U.S. I'd like to visit or revisit, mostly the Grand Canyon, and many of the other Canyons in the southwest where all the red rock is!

Ok, I picked more than one! :-)

BTW - thanks for doing this, Dani!

I dont know why, I guess cause I'm a bit wacko, but I would love to go to the Amazon forest and see all the diffrent creatures, I love all animals and critters/creatures, big and small, and would just love to see them. But of course I would wanna go with a tour guide, as the Amazon is a very dangerous place and I would wanna be with someone who knows what they're doing lol, but that to me would just be wonderful.
