My doctor came to visit me at home a short while ago. He's very concerned. I coughed up some more green stuff while he was here, and there was also some blood. He wants to double cover me, so now I'm on antibiotics and antivirals, if I have swine flu and pneumonia, the antivirals will take care of it, if I have swine flu and a chest infection, the antivirals and antibiotics respectively will take care of it.

I'm allowed to go back to College when my temperature is normal (Currently 102).

Oh, and this probably goes without saying, but I'm in pain, my leg, back, chest, shoulder. And my muscles seem to have gone on strike. I'm really sick and tired of drawing the short straw.

Ugh oh, at least your dr has you covered in both directions. Just take it easy and be kind to your body. Its will take a few days for it all to kick in and hopefully get you some relief. Be sure to drimk plenty of fluids, it will help thin the mucus too.

Sorry things are so miserable for you, Chris... I know it's stressful when you have assignments due and such; but I'm hoping you can just let that stuff go for now -- and get to feeling better.

Pain Issues: Neck/back pain; migraines; carpal tunnel syndrome; widespread joint/muscle pain, nerve pain in hands, arms, feet; I also have POTS/dysautonomia; CFS/Fibromyalgia; Severe Hypertension; Hypothyroidism; Addison's Disease; Central Sleep Apnea; etc etc

Meds: MS Contin (480mg daily); Dilaudid (8mg/3x day); Actiq (1200 mcgs/1x per day); Soma (3x day); Atenolol; Midodrine; Phenergan; Effexor and on the list goes...

Future Plans: Intrathecal Pain Pump; already completed trial; awaiting my decision for implantation

In the United States today, there is a pervasive tendency to treat children as adults, and adults as children. The options of children are thus steadily expanded, while those of adults are progressively constricted. The result is unruly children and childish adults. ~Thomas Szasz

I know what it's like to feel like the sky keeps falling in on you - over and over again! Remember you probably wouldn't be encouraged (probably the opposite!) to be around the college with the H1N1. The good thing will be you should develop an immunity now, although who knows if this is something you can get again!

Please do try to rest and give yourself as much TLC as possible! I know, easier said than done!

Yo folks.

Just woke up at 5am coughing up green things the size of a £2 coin (That's BIG for those of you that are in the US). Also my dad is noisy and accidentally turned the hallway light on. I was so tired I just passed out earlier and left my door open so yeah, that's irritating.

PALady - There's a couple new strains of it here now, so you can get it again lol.

I don't like being sick :(

Sorry - feeling a bit sorry for myself at the moment. Hope you're all doing ok.

Edit - Crazycatlady - I'm in the UK ;)
