Good morning Golitho,

I saw on one of the posts you had a hot flash you thought. But, if you have started taking any pain medicine they can cause you to heat up too.

I wanted to let you know about an all natural product that has been approved by my dr that I started taking 3 years ago. Its called Estroven, you can get them at any drug store or Walmart, places like that. My cardiologist and old PCP had been on my case for years about getting off HRT because I was a smoker. I told them to kiss off because I was not going to put up with all that crap I had gone thru the first year after my hysterectomy. But, then the gal that cuts my hair told me about Estroven and they work. I went off of the HRT and have done great with this. I took the package in to my PCP and she read it and gave it a thumbs up. My cardio was thrilled to death too, lol. There are many different types of Estroven you just have to pick which one would suit you the best.

Good luck.

Thanks Susie, I have had a few more hot flashes and I'm now off the strong pain killers and back on my normal ones. I am trying to read up on menopause and its worrying side effects so I was going to ask my GP tomorrow. I'll ask about estroven. A friend was telling me there is a Chinese herbal solution that works well too. My specialist has told me to hold off on HRT for the moment so once I'm driving I'll go searching and asking questions. I'm surprised at how well I feel, wonderful really, just a bit uncomfortable moving in odd directions or trying to put my shoes and sox on! My back is really sore the last 2 days, maybe from inactivity!!! My muscles seem to have spasmed?
How fummy typing in estroven, I've had a pop up for an add for it. Wierd huh! Thanks again for your care, golitho

Your dr may not have a clue what Estroven is, mine didn't till I bought it, its pretty cheap and took it in to her and then she gave it the thumbs up.
