Welcome Liz and all I can say is I wouldn't do it. There can be too many underlying causes for pain and until those are found taking online meds would not be the answer. It's not like you are prescribed a pill and all your problems are gone. If that was the case we would all be doing it. Sorry I couldn't be more help but this is my opinion.

LizSam,

Hi and Welcome, I would NOT order PM online.  You should establish yourself with a PMD and let him prescribe the indicated PM.  I have never ordered PM online nor would I, in my opinion and my question is how do you know what you are truly getting and how do you know what PM you need without medical intervention?  Too scary for me!

Find a PMD and follow a legitimate PM program!

Best to you,

Patti

I agree with Patti and Jag on this, find a good pain management doctor in your area.
Hope you get a low pain day soon..

LizSam,
If you are in the U.S. it is generally illegal to do so, and most sites that offer medical consultation along with this are scams at best. Several doctors have been arrested for this. Plus, it is dangerous as you never know what you're getting.

I have a hunch, though, this is advertising and not a legit post. Just MHO.

Hello,

I'm not sure they can 'legally' do that for PM, butI know their are some REAL doctors out their that after you visit them in their office the first time, they will do everything else online from across the US. But like I said, I dont think you can get narcotics, but their are some Suboxone doctors out their out their that does visits online after you see them face to face the first visit. But online consults like that are mostly meant for home bound patients or people who live in a area where doctos are not close by. But these are mostly done by GPs and psycologists/therapists. This is the only "online consults" that I know about that are not illegal. But finding a doctor to prescribe pain meds online is illegal and ordering meds online is illegal too and if your lucky it just maybe a placebo, but it could be rat poison for all you know, some scary stuff out their has happened before, not to mention going to jail if caught.

yes, I have to agree! I would never do this without a local PM.....the best way to keep yourself out of trouble with the law and or Goverment. There is really no reason that I can think of to go this route.
