Oops, I did a good one. I fell again this am and broke left arm, just got home from er. I broke the bone on the top of the arm- they said its unusual to break that bone. All I know is  its very painful. I will be in an immobilizer 7-10 days, then the ortho will put a caste on it to wear 4-6 weeks. They do this because of all the swelling involved. Will be lurking more than posting, takes me a long time using one finger. lol. Going for 2nd pain pill first one not touching this pain.

Suzie,

You poor thing.  What an odd bone to break.  You must have landed in a strange position and hard.  Keep us posted.

Susie, I know that Pattis just fell and then I took a tumble. You had to go and try and top us right. So sorry to hear that you broke the arm. I know the added pain is not what you want. I will pray for a speedy healing and low pain.

Susie!

Oh, no!!!! shocked smhair shakehead

I hope this is the end of the dark cloud for you (for both of us!), and there's no more new health issues for a long, long, LONG time!

We'll try to write you some fun notes now and then to make you smile, and you can just type a "tweet" in response! (is that what they're called - I don't know! smilewinkgrin ), or for that matter, just type "S" and we'll know who it's from!

One if by land, two if by sea? rolleyes

We'll figure out it's you, no matter what you write!

Please take care now. Looks like you'll have to relax....we'll keep sending you hugs and healing thoughts! :-)

p.s. I was at the dentist yet again today. I think this was the third post-extraction visit. And another refill of the antibiotic, although I can tell it's slowly getting better. He took an X-ray today and said everything looked like it was healing as it should. But this infection I had must have been a bear! My angel dentist also told me that the "devil" dentist said to tell me he'd put the new crown on at no cost. As much as I'll hate going back there, I can't pass up that offer. I think devil dentist must have known he was on shakey ground, even though I've never written or called him.
Our sagas continue, don't they? shakehead

my daughter came over tonite and read my paper work it appears there is two breaks explains the pain. two bones side by side both broke. ugh, but this will blow u guys away. my neighbor is an rn at a local hospital, he came over to check on me, told him about the pain, h/a and nausea, he said u need a pain reliever and something for inflammation, like motrin or ibuprophen. he came back with big bottle of ibuprophen take 4 at a time made alot of difference. he says too many pain signals hitting the brain and pain receptors too fast causing misfires thats why plain pain medication was not cutting it. 4 500mg ibuprophen is equal to rx strength. i hope i can sleep tonite.

wvagirl you have my email address thats what we have been corresponding on lol. email me.

Susie,
I hope you are feeling better today! Sorry to hear about your fall, are we getting old or what?? Please know that you are going to the top of my prayer list. Your neibor is so right! I wish I could take anti inflamitory drugs, the work soooo well, especially on your type of swelling & pain! Are you using ice? I hope things get better real soon!!!

When I was young, I broke almost evry bone in my body and I'm paying a heavy price now but I'm still here and so glad to see my two sons grow up to be fine young men. They are both serving in the US Navy, My oldest is serving on a aircraft carrier but is currently in advance radar school. The other is a Asault Ship "The Jaws of the Fleet" somewhere in the Persian Gulf w/ 2,000 Marines aboard.
