Monday, Monday, so good to me
Monday Mornin', it was all i hoped it would be

Anyone remember the Mamas and Papas tune? They did some great stuff back then. Do you have a "Day of the Week" song you can remember of that you loved? Hmmm, How about "Sunday will Never Be the Same" by Spanky and Our Gang? I loved that one too. This might be hard for the younger set because so many of them seem like old songs but I have faith in all of you.

What song to you like and/or remember that has a day of the week in the title?

Don't know if this counts, but "Yesterday" by Sir Paul McCartney (Beatle Fame)...
Sure would've loved to have seen his concert.....

Just thought of another one not sure you would consider it a song but it was the tune for Happy Days.

Aunt Kay -
It was the Moody Blues, I think, who did Tuesday afternoon.

Oh, gosh, we all in the same age box! LOL

Well I was looking through some of my LP's and How about ("Saturday Morning' by Harry Chapin ) ("Today" by The New Christy Minstrels) also ( "Everybody Loves Saturday Night" by the New Christy Minstrelss) ( "yesterday" by the Beatles) Chart already mentioned it! This might be stretching it a bit but how about: ( "Autum of my Life" by Bobby Goldsborro) And this song is just one that I have always loved! ("Cherish" by the Association)
Not to offend anyone but the all these songs and most of the others mentioned are all from the Golden age of Rock and Roll, and I think it was the best of music back then!

I don't like Mondays by the Boomtown Rats is good. It is not uplifting at all, but I think of it often when it's early Monday morning and I have to go to work.

Harry Chapin! Oh, White Beard you hit on one of my old favorites. I actually met him at one of his concerts when I lived on Long Island. He used to come out into the lobby and just hang out and a lot of the time no one recognized him. He was standing all alone and we just walked up and started talking to him! I was heartbroken when he was killed!

Harry Chapin, Carly Simon and Elton John got me through much of the angst of my 20's! LOL

Great stuff! I must say I'll cast a ballot for the Moody Blues any day. We had "I know you're out there somewhere" for our wedding song plus a few other Blues songs we loved.
