Do you carry a purse? a wallet? or just have some stuff in the pocket of your coat? What do you have in there that no one else is likely to have? Most everyone has about the same 'stuff' they carry along...wallet, identification/drivers license, comb, credit cards, keys..... But you are a very unique person and you must have something you carry along that no one else has.

OK, you all already know that I'm a bit goofy.....so this is easy for me. idea shocked I have a couple of things in my purse that likely no one else does. I pick up 'memories' of places I go. When hubby and I take a walk at the beach I pick up a 'memory', when traveling on vacation I pick up a 'memory'. So you might be wondering what this 'memory' is...it's a small rock! They're free, abundant, and easy to carry around. Doesn't have to be big but I look for one that says...'pick me up'. NO, the rocks aren't talking to me..I'm NOT that silly...lol turn But I love thin, smooth ones or rocks that remind me of something ... like I have one that looks like a pig nose....round with two holes/indentations in it. In my coin purse I have a tiny rock, in my coat pocket I always have one or two. It reminds me of times I was making memories with my best friend...hubby!

What do you carry that is totally unique and YOU?

I know this isn't really a response, but what exactly is "Kofee Klatch"?

Hi, GCoin,
It's just an informal daily topic our main moderator, Chutz, posts for a light-hearted chit-chat. As a deliberate distraction from our pain. You can toss in a response all the time, some of the time, or none of the time - whatever you feel like!

We also get to learn some of our likes, dislikes, or quirks, and there's usually a laugh or two involved.

Ooh chutzie!  I look for heart shaped rocks!  I look where ever we go.  I have a nice collection now.

I don't have anything really odd in my purse.  I like to carry my kindle so I can read if I am waiting anywhere.  I also carry my nintendo DS.  I like to play a game or too.

I am not very good at waiting.  I have to occupy myself.  I found a great game to play these days on the DS.......the curious village.  It is a series of logic puzzles!

I have two teenage boys that don't drive yet.  I am a taxi for them and I read or play games while waiting.

Nothing unusual anymore, but up until about a year and a half ago I used to wear cargo shorts in the summer and cargo pants in the winter and anytime we were out you could usually find, depending on his age at the time, a bottle or sippy cup, a zip lock baggie of snacks, another one with some wipes, a pacifier, and sometimes a spare diaper or pull up.

Well I am an old fuddy duddy I have a leather coin purse thing that I keep all my change in and when I go to the store I usually get it out and pay the odd change amount! I also like using a fanny pack especially in the summer I can carry my check book and wallet and everything in it instead of my back pockests. I also am able to have my daily med container with the alarm on it so I don't miss my meds if I am out! I am a great one on picking up neat looking rock or seed pods and then trying to grow them! I just about always have a pocket knife on me with the screw driver and can opener on it. It is one of those red ones that have everything on it! Swiss Army Knife I think it is called! Anyway I just always have that on me! So many times it has come in handy!

I usually carry crayons or a toy for my grandchildren. Sometimes it is in my purse for six months before I take it out and give it back to them. Well, I'm a grandma!!!

Blessings to all,

I've been trying to think of something unique in my purse or wallet, and honestly I can't. Since starting to have neck problems over 20 years ago I had to downsize to a small hand-carried bag or a fanny pack. And I keep it as light as possible. I'll keep looking and seeing if I can find anything unique, other than my driver's license or other I.D. kinds of things like a car registration. Those aren't very unique! I will say that since it's usually a smaller purse, it's stuffed to the gills with the "normal" stuff and usually quite messy. I do have a pair of those small fold up glasses or I can't read anyting when I'm out! LOL Do they count?

   Dear Chutz,

I do not think it is just me? But, I carry protein shakes. I burn up alot of energy, so I have to eat x5 per day. (still only 117 - 120lbs, go figure) But, on the plus side, atleast I really do get to sit and smell the roses often smilewinkgrin
