Welcome to Thursday...almost the weekend! YEAH! Whoa... don't want to rupture anything there. shocked

I was thinking about some trivia question for today but then thought of something even better. How about YOU coming up with a trivia question and tomorrow you can post the answer in the Koffee Klatch. Let's pick a topic though...how about our favorite topic...FOOD!.. tongue

So, your job is to post a trivia question related to food, any kind of food. When you post you may try and answer anyone else's question PLUS post your question too. Then when we have tomorrow's Koffee Klatch you can put the answer to your trivia question at the bottom of your post. Got it??? idea Try to answer without looking it up online...and then, if you're like me, get to the research. smilewinkgrin

OK, I don't get to guess since obviously no one has posted a question yet, but my question is...

The product we know today came into being in 1902, but it had existed in similar forms for generations. During the Christmas season of 1902, packaging became an important factor. It was designed with a string attached to it so it could be hung as a Christmas tree ornament. In total, there have been 37 different varieties, currently there are 22. More than 40 million packages of these are sold each year, and they are exported to 17 countries. They are turned out at the rate of 12,000 per minute, and nearly 6,000 miles of string are used on the packages. Poet-philosopher Christopher Morley wrote a poem named for them. What are they?

Twinkies have a shelf life of 25 days due to the lack of dairy products not used in them....

500+ million twinkies are produce each year....

What year did M & M's come out???
