Wow, it's Thursday already. That means tomorrow is almost the weekend! wink Here in Washington state it's been pouring rain for days on end. Wednesday we had clear skies and a cool breeze and it was awesome! I enjoy the crisp weather more than any other during the year. I love weather in general. What I mean by that is when nothing is 'happening' it's boring. But give me a good storm, lots of wind, buckets of rain and I'm lovin' it! I think my favorite is to have the fire going in the wood stove, turn off all noise like the TV or radio, and sit in my recliner with a great book and listen to the rain on the roof and skylights. That's my idea of a wonderful day.

Is anyone else as crazy as I am? Does anyone out there enjoy rain and storms? Can you remember a wild storm that was wild and fun???

Chutzie..(yep, I've gone over the edge big time!)

Being here in the Mid West I do not like severe lighting and thunder storms, they often can spawn Tornadoes and or severe damaging winds! And we get more than our share of nasty threatening weather! Bad weather especially at night is definitley something I don't like! And the exact area I am in with lots of rain the roads get flooded and impassable! Just give me a nice Bright, Crisp, Sunny, early morning in the summer will allot of early morning dew on the grass and that is fine with me!

I like the rain, but could do without the thunder part...

Being from KS we have our fair share going down Tornado alley. There is an old Indian Ledgened that a tornado will not land where to rivers meet and I live in the town where they meet and we have had minor things but nothing major like 12 miles west of us and 20 miles nw from us have gotten. Over a year ago our sirens went off and we live very close to where the tornado sirens are and my husband and I slept through it.....We were lucky that no damage was done around here but 12 miles west had horrible damage that night and it was headed towards us. I love storms but not when it knocks out power, that's more likely to occur here with ice.
