Hey Gang,
I just wanted to wish everyone a Super happy Thanksgiving and be sure not to over eat!!

Since it's a time to be thankful for everything we are blessed with, I would like to Thank all of Y'all for making my life w/ C.P. & all my other problems a lot easier than it was before I found you!

It is truely a blessing to know that any time of the day or night that Y'all are always there for me weather I'm hurting physicaly, depressed or happy and just needing to celibrate w/ someone! There is always an ear out there listening to me and open arms and warm huggs for when I'm down!

I know not all of you will be sharing your day w/ someone tomorrow and I'd like to send out a special hug to you, (Miss Lucy> I read your post!) If I had the means, I'd fly Y'all down here to Fla. to share the day w/ us!! My wife and I are staying home and it will be just the two of us on Thanksgiving. Since we will be heading up to Norfolk Va. early next month to welcome Pete Jr. and his ship (Navy) back to the States after a looooong deployment in the Middle East, we will be having our friend take care of all the pets then and didn't want to ask her to do it this week also!!!

Peace & Love to All Y'All!!!

Pray for our Troops!!!

Your humble friend,

Pete

Pete

I also hope you and your wife have a great Turkey Day! enjoy your nice warm weather, they are predicting our first possible dusting of snow tonight and tomorrow, Our high tomorrow is only supposed to be in the mid to upper 30's it is 36 right now and it is 11:15 at night. I have made my Turkey Bread dressing and baked it, and it is cooling right now! I will then put it in the frig! I am having a modified tradition ThanksGiving dinner tomorrow! Having Roasted Turkey Legs!

Anyway Friday I plan on doing something that I have never done! I am going to get up early ( very early) and I am going to go shopping! I think I am going to buy myself a Christmas Present! I have never done the Day after ThanksGiving shopping thing, and I have decided I am going to try it! I need to get out and away from this house for a while, and this shopping is as good away of doing it, as I can think of! So wish me luck, it should be an adventure!

Pete I do wish you and everyone ( all my family here at this forum) a very Happy and Joyous and Blessed ThanksGiviing Day!

And a very special Blessing to your sons in the Navy and all the troops that are Serving our Country in all the Branches of the Services, at home and Overseas! I know all to well how difficult the Holidays can be for our young troops away from home and family, may Gods Blessing always be upon them!

Pete and everyone,
I also want to wish you a peaceful and meaningfu Thanksgiving - in whatever way you celebrate or don't celebrate it! Just remembering to spend some extra time thinking of things one can be grateful for to me is what it's all about. And all of you on this forum are a HUGE part of why I'm grateful this year.

So thank you all for being there for me, and allowing me into your lives!

With gratitude and hugs,

PaLady
p.s. White Beard I for one am proud of how you're handling this first Thanksgiving on your own! Good for you!!! But watch those Friday morning crowds - they can get kind of dangerous, although I've heard some of the stores are trying to hand out numbers and things in advance so people know if they're going to get in, get their favorite special item, etc. I've never had the courage or the real desire to do Black Firday! Will enjoy hearing your stories - and what you buy for yourself!

Happy Thanksgiving to you too Pete and all of my HW Family!  Today is the day that I always overdo, don't mean to, always say I will NOT do this or that and end up doing it anyway!

That said, it will still be a WONDERFUL day spent with my family and some friends!

You are all in my thoughts today and I will definitely be including all of you in my grateful list that we share at our Dinner table today.

Whitebeard, I USED to go out on Black Friday, like PALady says be CAREFUL, there are alot of whacko's out there but there are just as many that calmly search for good deals.  I hope you find yourself something very special, you certainly deserve it!!

Blessings to all of you and of course XXOO
