Well I have come to realize that my Lyme is relapsing. I am in a world of hurt. even the joints in my feet and toes are screaming. pain is even worse. I am so upset. It looks like I will be going back on long term antibiotics again in 10 days when I see my doc. I have been off antibiotics for 6 months, and while not symptom free, I was "ok". The last few weeks I have been noticing the syptoms slowly creeping up on me. then the other day WHAMO I got blasted with everything again.

I am not surprised, but soooooooooo sad.

thanks for letting me vent.

I am so sorry you are going thru this. My oldest sister has lymes too and its a real merry go round ride trying to keep it in check. I am dealing with an infection that is becoming chronic at this point-I am sick of antibiotics. Hang in there.

Melissa,
So sorry to read that things are getting worse for you. I don't know much about the treatment for lyme, but I sure hope something works for you sooner rather than later.

Hugs,

Hi Melissa:

I'm sorry you are dealing with so much pain. I just wanted to tell you that you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I hope the antibiotics work quickly. Do you have to wait 10 days before you see the doctor, can you move your appt. up?

Keep us updated on how you are doing.

I am going to call the doc in the am. I just saw my pcp so he may be able to help. I was on abx for 2 years. I hope I can stomach them again.

thanks for the support,

Hi Merry, Really sorry your Lymes is flaring again. I can fully empathise as my RA is flaring too and I've just developed a chest infection, an infection in my eye and tinnea on my feet. Maybe its the stresses of the end of the year or maybe its the weather or maybe its just hormones. Not a good time for us immuno suppressed people.

But heartfelt get well soon hugs coming your way, golitho

Merry Girl

I do hope that the antibiotics will help you this time, I must admit I am not that familiar with Lyme disease, I do know it can be serious and very difficult to treat and I know that it is or at least it used to be treated with IV antibiotics. Anyway I do wish you well and hope that this time your treatment will be successful!

Good Luck to YOU!!
