We made it to the weekend again and I hope everyone is able to get in some relaxing and peaceful time. With the Christmas holiday season coming up we all seem to get busier and busier. So one thing we do need to do is take great care of ourselves.
So, if you are going to pamper yourself so you can survive this busy time of year, what will you do? Take a short nap each day? Maybe a hot shower after the kids are in bed. No kids so life must be easy huh???...that's a laugh for all of us grandparents. I think I'm busier now than when I was raising my children.
So, what's your way to relax? OK, I've stumped myself on this one. I'm guilty of pushing myself until I drop and have been that way since I was a teen. But one thing I do love is a quiet afternoon nap. I love it best if there's a bit of sunshine outside, curl up on top of the bed, snuggle with 2 or 3 pillows, pull something warm over me and I'm out like a light! I hardily recommend it for relaxation. I always set a timer of some sort though. If I sleep too long then I feel lousy and the idea is to feel wonderful.
How do you relax when life gets busy?
