We made it to the weekend again and I hope everyone is able to get in some relaxing and peaceful time. With the Christmas holiday season coming up we all seem to get busier and busier. So one thing we do need to do is take great care of ourselves.

So, if you are going to pamper yourself so you can survive this busy time of year, what will you do? Take a short nap each day? Maybe a hot shower after the kids are in bed. No kids so life must be easy huh???...that's a laugh for all of us grandparents. I think I'm busier now than when I was raising my children.

So, what's your way to relax? OK, I've stumped myself on this one. I'm guilty of pushing myself until I drop and have been that way since I was a teen. But one thing I do love is a quiet afternoon nap. I love it best if there's a bit of sunshine outside, curl up on top of the bed, snuggle with 2 or 3 pillows, pull something warm over me and I'm out like a light! I hardily recommend it for relaxation. I always set a timer of some sort though. If I sleep too long then I feel lousy and the idea is to feel wonderful.

How do you relax when life gets busy?

I enjoy laying down and watching something on TV that I wouldn't get lost in if I'd fall asleep for a little while so I watch HGTV a lot. As a matter of fact I fell asleep last night with the TV on and I didn't turn it off until 5 when I got up. Hubby is out chasing 4 legged deer so he wasn't here to turn it off or wake me to turn it off.

I had to think about this for a sec....but first I wanted to say..those of you that came to Chat Night last evening....I had a wonderful time....infact it was a blast....lots of teasing and letting our hair down...just what the Dr ordered for the week! I guess that was relaxing for me...being able to laugh with my friends...and trust me, I was laughing...even though I was the brunt of most of the fun. Don't let Privey fool you...she has an onery side to her! :)  ....and don't ever expect Gretch1 to watch your back! :)  What a blast it was! ....I think the other thing that is relaxing to me is ridding my Harley....one hand on the throttle...and the other wraped around my wifes leg...screaming down a long straight scenic highway. Love you Babe! With all my Heart!
