Since I have no way to go to the doctor right now, anyone here want to be one and try to diagnose for fun what I have?

Ok here goes.

Started on Monday 12/28.

Head cold type symptoms. Running nose, small headache, and mildly congested.

Then on or about 1/3/10 the following started:

Cough, every joint in my body feeling swollen, Sense of balance somewhat off, intense constant pain in most of my joints and several muscle groups. The pain only gets better if I can manage to sleep a few hours but returns to full intensity within 30 minutes of being even slightly active.
Every time I eat or drink something I feel like my digestive system is trying to work through a plate of broken glass and barb wire gravy. I however have not lost my appetite nor am I nauseated.
No fever but yet I feel cold most of the time. Temp is normal. I also don't feel any colder if I am outside or inside. I just feel like my personal inner thermostat is broke.
2 confirmed herniated lumbar discs. Spinal Arthritis. Spinal Stenosis, diabetic peripheral nueropathy.

Sounds like the Martian booggie poops to me! smhair smhair smhair With the Shakey shivers thrown in with it! smhair smhair smhair

Seriously your balance problems could be that your nasal and sinus congestion is also affecting your inner ear! You can always try eating chicken noodle soup and get plenty of rest! See a Doctor when you can. or go to a convenient care clinic either one would be the best thing to do!

Good Luck to You!
