Have you ever followed the rainbow? Have you seen a part of one and kept hunting for the other end? Did you drive to get a better view or take a picture? Did you find the end??

I love rainbows! We saw one 2 weeks ago and only for see and got a picture of 1/2 of it, but that was fine. I've chased a few and almost found the end but I did find one rainbow I was looking for...my sweet hubby. smilewinkgrin

How about anyone else? Like rainbows? Ever chase any??

Hello Chutzy! I'm glad you mentioned chasing Rainbows today. It brings back a memory of an odd event that happened over 25yrs ago to me. My wife and I were driving down a street in our local town, just after a storm had passed, and I remembered that the sun had come out for a few minuets. all of the sudden all the colors got very weired, and I mean really weired! The car lights from the cars coming at us, looked completly different, so much so, that it caught both my wifes and I's attention. It was sort of surreal, and I will never forget it. The only thing I could think of, was that we might have been in the path of the rainbow. Matbe there is no such thing as being in one, but something caused it, and I can not think of anything else that may have caused it. I hate to even mention it here, as some of the members might think Im a nut......hold all the comments please! :) Have a wonderful day all!

A couple months ago I saw this absolutely PERFECT rainbow while driving. I kept getting closer and closer to it, but it never ended. It was kind of like I was driving in place, not going forward and not going backward. It was the most beautiful rainbow I've ever seen! I wish I'd had a camera, but driving & photography don't mix!

Yes I like rainbows, but I have never chased any.

I have been known to chase windmills a few times however.

I have chased a few in my days as a youngster and I was usually with my maternal granddparents up in the north KS area. Seemed to me they always had bigger and better rainbows than we ever had in our hometown. As I grew older and think back I think the granddparents made them fun and exciting because granddparents always take the time that parents don't always have.
