Hi Flower,
Thanks for thinking about me, It really means alot to me!!! Sorry I haven't been around, been down in the dumps and fighting this dadgum depression. Sorry to worry you. I am trying my hardest to get myself going again but I feel like I'm stuck in quicksand, sure alot of folks know what I'm talking about. Everything hurts so bad when I'm like this. I can hardly get out of bed or walk and when I force myself, it doesn't take long before I'm back down again. Meds are NOT helping!

All for now, I'm going back to bed for awile. This sucks!

Your friend,

Pete

((((((((((Pete)))))))))))). I've really been struggling with severe depression the last few months as well. I think a lot of people become more depressed in the winter (although I honestly don't think mine has anything to do with the winter). Are you talking to anyone? It's not easy, but it can help if you give it a chance.

hugs,
Skeye

Take care Pete. Don't let this get too far out of hand, you've got family there that care about you so reach out to them for support, I'm sure they can see your sorrow.

Pete,
I say "ditto" to Jag's thoughts about not letting it get out of hand. It seems to have been going on for quite awhile as you were posting about it a few weeks back, right? Have you talked with your doctor about adjusting or maybe changing your anti-depressant? If not, I hope you do that soon so you can try to break out of this.

Hugs,

Now Pete, we miss ya and sure hope you know we are caring about you. The weather this time of year sure does not help, it's been yucky here, lots of rain, I lost some plants from the freeze. Sure wish I knew something to help lift that depression, but I can say that spring will be here soon and bringing some better weather. Whats the latest on your Mother and the new kitten?
Post when you can and lots of soft healing hugz with wishes that you get a low pain day soon...

Thanks for caring everyone! Yes Pa, it's been awhile now since I've been hurting. I know all of you can relate to this, all my physical problems are so bad right now and I'm sure most of it is from the depression I've been in. It hurts so bad just to be alive right now and my new pain doc cutting back my pain meds doesn't help matters either! I feel like a big fat rotting turd!
My left accillies tenden, knee and hip are throbbing and hot to the touch. My lower back is also pulsating and shooting electric bolts down both legs. My left arm, the whole thing hurts so bad I cant use it, I can't even type w/ my left hand. My left shoulder is on fire and my neck, well forgettaboutit! It ain't fixed from that dadgum fusion I had almost a year ago! Everything I do hurts.
Oh what a whiner> I am the king of all whiners today! I've got more whine than Ernest and Julio put together!!!! King whineman Pete, the once great and powerful ruler of Pete's world of whine!! Who wants to here it? No one!
Like the dumby I am, trying to save a little money, I stopped buying a supplement called DIM that I've been taking for a long time. It has to do something or other to the estrogen (yes we guys have it) in our body. It also does something to make the testosterone work better to keep me going. Me with my up and down testosterone levels it's bad enough but when it doesn't work properly well, I'm a mess! Without it (DIM) I have gained alot of weight and have been very slugish for a long time before the depression set in. I finally broke down and ordered some today. I never really thought it worked but now I'm sure I need it!!!
The dam money sittuation is also causing my depression. So many of you here have been in financial troubles for so long w/ it affecting more of us every day! I respect you so much having to deal w/ money matters all the time and not totally losing it!!! After working so long for so hard I never thought I would be in this shape at this time of my life. Now without a job and the dadgum social security idiots shooting me down, I am terrified whats going to happen in the near future! What the hell happened? I wish those ssd idiots could live for one day in my body, no just an hour and then see what they say!!
OK I've said or whined enough. God bless us all! I pray that some day we don't have to live in agony, don't have to explain to anyone how much it hurts and that we all have windfalls so we don't have to give up meds or supplements to try to save some $$$ and let us all get understanding compassionet doctors who will treat us w/ respect!
The End!
Love All Y'all!!!

I know that it is doom and gloom in this old world at times, but we are not going to give up on you Pete! Thanks for posting something for us.

Pete,
I feel like I missed something somewhere (and it could likely be my brain fog) but when did the new PM doc reduce your pain meds? Gosh, no wonder you're struggling with everything you've got going on.

I know you had to change docs (or some of them) with the move and I apologize for not remembering everything, but it sure does sound like you need some medical attention for all that pain and those symptoms. I hope you can get to a decent doc soon!

Don't worry about the whining! We're in this boat together, but it seems like a few of us are losing our oars of late. (I'm one of them! LOL) And the money thing.....oh, I won't even go there. Any bites on your house? Or maybe even renting it? Hope you're still not loaning it out rent-free!

Take care of yourself!

Hugs,

PaLady

   Dear Pete,

Good morning *warm huggs* I am terribly sorry you are feeling so overwhelmed and sad. I wish there were something, anything, I could do to help. You ve been so caring and compassionate to all of us here.. it tears me up to know your having such a hard time.

Have you tlaked to your doctor about your pain being under managed? That is adding to the depression and it is a big worry. I hope you can get in touch with him and let him know that the sheer amount of pain is far too draining on you and has your life at a complete standstill.

The SS office sure is taking its sweet time. I had to go down to our office here on wednesday... I walked in at 12pm and left at 3:30.....all for 15mins of their time. Humm... probably best I steer clear of how I feel about SS system right now... Ive got some awfully negative thoughts.

Now your ankle. What have you decided to do about it? Wait?  If you have, please be sure to let your doctor know what you have decided on that aswell. Perhaps they can help with the pain that is comming from that? Until you can get it taken care of.

Above all else, please know your in our hearts and prayers here. We worry about you and when your feeling blue I know the last thing you want to do is be social.... But take a deep breath and stop in here. We need you here, even if your your down and even if your happy. Thats what friends are for. We care so much about you.

*warm huggs*

Pete, friend, like Dani said I'm worried about you too, please know we care so much about you and never apologize about whine we all need too. Make an appointment and get your foot looked at. Please. and as for the other things you have my prayers on those and with hopes that things will fall into place and work themselves out.
I really wish I had some wonder words or magic things that I could say to help cheer you up, just know that we are here. we luv ya.
How did the barn turn out for your wife? is it finally finished? What fishing equipment do you need to restock up on? maybe next week with the weather permiting you could go fishing...since your in Florida do you have to worry about gators when your fishing?
Hope your feeling better soon and lots of soft hugz coming your ways..
