Thursday evenings are our chat night time so please join us if you can. Hopefully we'll take time for some discussion of pain issues and as usual we always have some fun thrown in too. So bring your favorite beverage and maybe your best friend and join in. Below are directions for those who aren't familar with the chat rooms.

Hope to see you there... 9 PM Eastern time, 6 PM Pacific.

Chutz

If you are new and or are not sure how to get to the chat rooms here are the directions....

To get to the chat room you just click on the words/button CHAT or CHAT ROOMS. Both will take you to the same place. Where are those words/buttons? Above the Topics list where all of the discussions are listed is a button that says "NEW TOPIC". Going up some more are a line of words that read

Forum Rules | Help Manual | Chat Rooms | Moderators | Volunteer
You can just click on the word Chat Rooms and there you are! Or you can go up one more line and come to a thin blue bar. On that bar, is:

Log Off | Control Panel | Home | Calendar | Chat | Search | Members | Help
Just click on the word CHAT and it also takes you to the chat room menu.

Once the pop-up Chat window opens go through the steps. From the drop down menu choose the Chronic Pain chat room. Once chosen you then do step #2 and log in. Then you will see the chat screen in that window. You just start typing in the small window at the bottom of the viewing area (where everyone's words show up) Below where you type is an option you can click on to view the Chat rules and help.

If you can't get the chat window to open make sure you allow a pop-up for this particular site. If you have it blocked you will not be able to do chats. On Firefox/Mozilla browser it will tell me at the top of the screen that it's blocked and allow me to let this one place open a pop-up.

Start time is 6 PM Pacific Time and 9 PM Eastern time N. America. Come and go as you like. It’s informal and we operate like an open house evening.

Hope to see you there!

I will try and be there. I'm on Eastern time so it's only about 45 mins away. I'm watching one of my favorite TV shows and I tend to lose track of time. ;) I will definitely try to remember! I'd like to get to know everyone a lil better!

It was nice meeting some of you.. I look forward to talking with everyone again! Sorry I missed you leave Eagle. I'm sure we'll meet again. :) I hope that things get better for all of us.. there are far too many things we all are dealing with right now.. we need peace and serenity. I know that it's a long road to recovery.. and sometimes recovery may never be attained, but I'm so glad I have met some people who can understand and relate to what I am going through. :)

Sounds like I missed a fun time. I popped in for about 2 minutes but couldn't stay. Having one of those pain nights that just wouldn't get under control.

I'd be happy to post about pets since we just got a new puppy...good idea!
