We're having an early spring out in the northwest...OK, no throwing things, especially snowballs. lol But I have daffodils and hyacinths in bloom. It's too early but ya know, that's what makes up the 'averages' the weatherman talks about. So to start off the week, lets see if we can to the entire ABC's of flowers...

I'll start with Anthurium for the letter A. Those are the plastic looking flower on tall stems that look like a fake plastic lily type flower, yet they are very real. They only come in red and white. Below is a link to a Google search for pictures. There are some mighty interesting hybrids over the years, even a black one.

OK, next person picks a flower beginning with the letter B....and down the alphabet we go.

Chutz, this is so much fun! Thank you for getting my mind off the yuck for a little while each day. O.K., I was raised in Tennessee, but was born in Texas. As an adult, I then moved back to Texas for many, many years before finally moving back here to the state of my youth. So, as a native Texan, I must say, B is for BLUEBONNET!

You have daffodils and hyacinth blooming???? smhair smhair smhair

Ok, is Cactus a flower? Because if this counts for "C" then I'm going to wrap one up in snow and toss it across the country and I hope to knock some sense into those northwestern flowers! eyes

The only promising aspect to your early spring is that your weather usually gets here....eventually! smilewinkgrin

"F" will be for ferns. I have some lovely big old ferns that thrive on the side of my home that gets alot of shade.

I too am jealous of your spring flowers already. I'm sitting here listening to the sleet hitting my window. It's just not fair!!!!!
