Your not the only one that the weather affects, believe me. I've read information about the effects that the barometric pressure has on joints, there is nothing conclusive scientifically but if you ask anyone with a chronic pain issue they will tell them that it does. What I wouldn't give for a nice sunny day outside, the sun hasn't shined here in Ohio in a long time.

Take it easy and try to keep your spirits up. When is your next doctors appt? What type of doctor are you going to see next? I saw where your doc didn't think you had cellulitus.

Hey,
Just checking in with you and wishing you a warmer day and less pain. I believe Jag is right on the money, when the barometric pressure starts doing it's thing, jumping all around, I can predict I'll have a bad headache and hurt all over. I really hope the day goes in a better direction and as you well know, all the people in this Family we have here are thinking of you and wishing you the absolute best.

Mikel,
Absolutely the weather affects our pain! At least mine and lots of others here! Our local weather reporter does an "aches and pains" alert segment when the barometric pressure is changing, etc., and tells us what ailments are likely to flare up, so it's not in our heads!

And great news on finding what sounds like a promising pm doc!

Hi Mike..

Sorry to hear of your leg pain today...My neck pain gets so bad with the cold weather...I use a ThermaCare every afternoon!! Especially since I have to use a frozen bag of veggies when I get more inflammation and absolutely hate that but it's necessary to help...

I am very happy to hear that you have a new PM Dr. to see so will be praying that this works out for you!

Hope you can get some rest for that leg this weekend..

Take care,

Hi Mikel...so sorry you are having a rough day...I recently bought a heating pad that covers the bed and it has helped a little on these awful days...I have had 2 hot chocolates (none of my meds like my apple martinis anymore) and trying to forget the pain as well...here's to better days and Spring :) big hugs, J
