I hope no one minds if I post a Koffee Klatch while Chutz is away. Here goes:

If money and health were no object, where would you go for a vacation. Be specific.

I have never been anywhere tropical before, so I would love to take a trip to Club Med in the Maldives on the Indian Ocean. I would enjoy two weeks of all inclusive pampering including daily massages at the spa, sailing, beach-combing, rest and relaxation.

What about you?

Hope everyone is feeling as well as possible today.

Conditions: Fibromyalgia, Chronic Pelvic Pain, FAI, Reynauds, IBS, Interstitial Cystitis, Surgical Adhesions, Ophthalmic Migraines, Severe Hot Flashes (Surgical Menopause and drug related), plus physically unable to vomit due to Nissen, and I have extremely tiny veins...a joy for blood work or IV's)
Surgeries: Appendix, Uterus, Nissen Fundoplication for GERD, Left Ovary, Gallbladder, Right Ovary, TVT
Medications: Oxycontin, Tramacet, Cymbalta, Nortriptyline
Other: Vitamin D, Multi-Vitamin

I think I'd be off to Australia and do some pearl diving...as I'd be healthy enough...Maybe even go into a shark cage to watch some great whites...
Or if that wouldn't be possible maybe I'd go to Florida and do some dolphin watching, yeah dolphin watching would also be fun....

Enlarged Pituitary Gland, Sjogren's, Ocular Migraines, mild carpel tunnel, ect.... "Would be nice if we could use the edit button in real life"...

If money were not a factor I would go and buy a new crew cab 4X4 truck and a nice 5th wheel camper and spend a year traveling around the country seeing all of the places I only got to drive past while I was driving a semi truck. Some stops would be Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Vermont in the fall, Disney World, and what ever else we could come up with.
2 confirmed herniated lumbar discs. Spinal Arthritis. Spinal Stenosis, diabetic peripheral nueropathy.

I would take my husband to Amsterdam & Holland where his ancestry lies.  Our last name is very unusual here but very common there so I wouldn't have to continually spell my last name either.

DDD, osteoarthritis, facet syndrome, fusion surgeries C-5/7 & L-4/5 both in 2006, torn meniscus surgeries left knee 2000 & 2002, buldging disc L-2/3

Ok, if money and health were no object I would take a year (or more if needed!) and travel the globe!

I would want to return to Hawaii but this time the big island, and see the active volcano (take the walk up as close as you can get). I'd want to go to the land down under and visit some of our Aussie friends! I would like to experience (probably only briefly) the feeling of a large crowded city like Hong Kong. I would want to visit Japan. I would want to spend time in Greece, Italy (drink wine and eat cheeses in Tuscany - stay in a Tuscan villa for a month!) , and definitely stop in Sicily. On my way heading back I'd want to go to Paris, Spain, and the coastal regions of Ireland (and stay in a castle).

I'd go visit one of the poles (north or south - not sure which!). Travel through Canada - Vancouver looked beautiful!), and then get the most luxurious RV made and visit every single National Park in the U.S., with particular attention to the canyons of the South West. After that, I'd decide where I want to make my next home!

But I think it would be time to rest a bit! LOL

Great topic, MsBunky!

Given these two factors - I would LOVE to take time off from life and simply see the entire world! What fun it could be to travel around with no worries......it just "might" make my CP tolerable! (not!) Wishful thinking on my part! ;) Hey, it never hurts to wish! Great topic MsBunky!

I'd take my family on vacation to Europe....particularly to Austria (my maternal grandfather's family was from Austria) and to Ireland and England (most of the rest of my ancestors are either English or Irish). But it would be fun just to wander through Europe.....

But, if money were no object, eventually we would wind up our vacation somewhere warm and wonderful like Fiji!!

This IS a great topic! :)

Australia & New Zealand. Some fantastic evolutionary events have taken place over there. I want to explore!
