Tomorrow I go for my 2D echo.  I have been having tons of tests done lately to look into my rapid heart rate and breathing problems.  This is the final test to see if my heart is really enlarged as a cat scan recently showed.  ( it also showed a tumor on my adrenal gland)  I am hoping the test comes out normal.  The doctor says there is a chance.  So please pray for me.

I have recently lost 10 to 12 pounds lately and my back is better and I'm able to move around a little better.  I am usually very sedentary with the fibro, my back pain and shortness of breath.  The doctor feels I am out of shape, so as soon as the results of the test come back, he will give me the ok to increase my activity and do a little exercise.

I joined weight watchers and wow is that a good program.  I am very encouraged and I'm enjoying myself so far.  It's just been a couple of weeks but I like it so far.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share what has been going on with me lately and to ask for your prayers.  I will let you all know the outcome when I find out in a couple of days, probably next week.

Hi Linda, good luck today on the big test. I have you in my prayers. I know several ladies in weight watchers and it has got to be one of the best weight loss programs out there. If done correctly, it is amazing how much weight can be lost. The beauty of weight watchers is it teaches us how to eat properly and be healthy at the same time. It is not considered a diet because of this. Good luck and let us know how this comes out.

Had the echo. Took all of five minutes, very anti climatic. But I'm very glad it's overwith. Now I have to wait for the results, but the tech said he didn't see anything way grossly abnormal--that leaves a lot unsaid doesn't it? hahahahaha. Oh well, will keep you all informed. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. I appreciate it.

The techs generally won't give any info, so how long before you see your doc again for the results? Keep us updated and hope everything turns out OK!

Linda,
I know I've had a lot of those "echo" kinds of tests. At least they're not painful! But the waiting...I think that's the worst. I'm hoping all is clear for you!

Do let us know!

Well, I got the results from my echo and everything is fine.  Don't know any details because the doctor won't get on the phone.  I have an appt with a new doctor next Tuesday for reasons just like this.

At any rate, my heart seems to be fine and I am so happy.  Thank you all for your support and love.  It has meant the world to me.
