Well, it has finally come time for the ROM or Range of Motion test that can apparently only be given by the SS doctor in the state of Tennessee. This test is going to be a bugger and I'm dreading it, but I'd love to get this "review" behind me!!  I would appreciate everyone saying a prayer or keeping me in your thoughts tomorrow afternoon as I go see this unknown doctor! I know if he starts pushing around and lifting me, bending me etc, I will cry like a baby! HA! O.K., deep breath and hopefully a good night's sleep and please remember Mikel tomorrow as well as he goes in to see the surgeon about his leg! Deep thoughts and prayers all around! Thank you so very much my HW family!

Catz, I'll be rooting for you tomorrow. I too am in the process of filing for SSDI. I am in my first appeal and haven't been asked to see any of their doctors yet. SS did ask me if I'd see one of their docs if required and I said yes. What phase of filing are you in?

Hope all goes well for you too Mikel!

Thank you so much Pam ,Jag , JoAnn and Tina .To know we have friends pulling for us is a great comfort , nothing can describe the feeling I guess most of us know , sitting across from a surgeon , discussing your future .I only ever had my tonsils out at 12 years old , 41 years later here i am very worried about my quality of life , hopeful and frightened as I can be but I know I must go forward with this , so hereI go and I'll see what he says .Catz needs her benefits just as badly and I'm hoping she gets all the benefite she can.

Hello everyone, I went to see the SSD doctor. I don't have any way of knowing what anything meant. For the record, I have been on SSD since April of '02! Out of no where they said that I had to see a doctor and send in all my info for SSD again. I don't know if that means just checking up or if it's a brand new, starting out all over again. It just keeps coming over and over. I get letters every week saying they aren't getting the info they need and want me to get it. I have no idea what's going on. Mikel, my dear Brother, I pray...hope...and all the other things that this surgeon gives you a positive result!! Let me hear from you and EVERYONE!!! Thank you so very, very much for your thoughts!

Hi Cat....

I'm glad you made it to your SSD doctor today. Yeah, I don't know what that means either... How was the appointment? How was the doctor?

I've been thinking of you today...and hoping it went well.

Hey Tina,
I hope this is it! I have no idea how it went, the doctor seemed nice enough, but he held his cards close to the vest. I just don't know. He had me move my arms and of course one moved for the most part, but the one that is frozen, was frozen! He moved my legs all over and caused major pain, but all in all the appointment just hurt! Thanks for thinking of me! That makes me feel really good to know you care!!
Take care and let me hear from you!
