Which song title describes you best and why? Let's keep this within our Koffee Klatch theme of happy thoughts and topics. This is our daily fun and laughs and for some of us it's all the humor we get.

So, what is 'your' song title and why?

Mine would be a Kenny Rogers song called "Through the Years". It's how I feel about my hubby. I copies and pasted the lyrics below.

Chutz

Through the Years , music and lyrics by Kenny Rogers,

I can't remember when you weren't there
When I didn't care for anyone but you
I swear we've been through everything there is
Can't imagine anything we've missed
Can't imagine anything the two of us can't do

Through the years, you've never let me down
You turned my life around, the sweetest days I've found
I've found with you ... Through the years
I've never been afraid, I've loved the life we've made
And I'm so glad I've stayed, right here with you
Through the years

I can't remember what I used to do
Who I trusted whom, I listened to before
I swear you've taught me everything I know
Can't imagine needing someone so
But through the years it seems to me
I need you more and more

Through the years, through all the good and bad
I knew how much we had, I've always been so glad
To be with you ... Through the years
It's better everyday, you've kissed my tears away
As long as it's okay, I'll stay with you
Through the years.

Through the years, when everything went wrong
Together we were strong, I know that I belonged
Right here with you ... Through the years
I never had a doubt, we'd always work things out
I've learned what love's about, by loving you
Through the years

Through the years, you've never let me down
You've turned my life around, the sweetest days I've found
I've found with you ... Through the years
It's better everyday, you've kissed my tears away
As long as it's okay, I'll stay with you
Through the years!

Mine would be Strength, Courage and Wisdom, by India.Arie

Strength, Courage, Wisdom

Inside my head there lives a dream that I want to see in the sun
Behind my eyes there lives a me that I’ve been hiding for much too long
'cause I’ve been, too afraid to let it show
'cause I’m scared of the judgment that may follow
Always putting off my living for tomorrow
It’s time to step out on faith, I’ve gotta show my faith
It’s been illusive for so long, but freedom is mine today
I’ve gotta step out on faith, it’s time to show my faith
Procrastination had me down but look what I have found, I found

Chorus
Strength, courage, and wisdom
And it’s been inside of me all along,
Strength, courage, and wisdom
Inside of me

Behind my pride there lives a me, that knows humility
Inside my voice there is a soul, and in my soul there is a voice
But I’ve been, too afraid to make a choice
'cause I’m scared of the things that I might be missing
Running too fast to stop and listen

It’s time to step out on faith, I’ve gotta show my faith
It’s been illusive for so long but freedom is mine today
I’ve gotta step out on faith it’s time to show my faith
Procrastination had me down but look what I have found, I found

Chorus
Strength, courage, and wisdom
And it’s been inside of me all along,
Strength, courage, and wisdom
Inside of me

Bridge
I close my eyes and I think of all the things that I want to see
'cause I know, now that I’ve opened up my heart I know that
Anything I want can be, so let it be, so let it be¡.

Chorus
Strength, courage, and wisdom
It’s been inside of me all along,
Strength, courage, wisdom
It’s been inside of me all along, everyday I’m praying for¡

Chorus
Strength, courage, and wisdom
To find me, yeah,
Strength, courage, and wisdom
Inside of me

Vamp
I found it in me, I found it finally
I’m sure to keep it’ cause I like it, I say thank you

Mine is pretty self explanitory.......

"Life's What You Make It"
By: Hannah Montana
(I know...Don't laugh! lol)

Don't let no small frustration
Ever bring you down
No no no no
Just take a situation
And turn it all around

With a new attitude everything can change
Make it how you want it to be
Stayin' mad, why do that?
Give yourself a break
Laugh about it and you'll see

Life's what you make it
So let's make it rock
Life's what you make it
So come on come on (everybody now)

Why be sad, broken hearted?
Theres so much to do
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
Life is hard or
It's a party
The choice is up to you

With a new attitude everything can change
Make it how you want it to be
Stayin' sad, why do that?
Give yourself a break
I know you wanna party with me

Life's what you make it
So let's make it rock
Life's what you make it
So come on come on

Lets celebrate it
Join in everyone
You decide
'Cause life's...what you make it

Things are looking up
Any time you want
All you gotta do is realize that
It's under your control
So let the good times rock and roll

Ow!
Da da da do it now
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah
OW!
Alright
Yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah

Life's what you make it
So let's make it rock
(let's make it rock)
Life's what you make it
So come on come on (everybody now)
Let's celebrate it
Join in everyone
You decide
'Cause life's...what you make it
Life is what you make it

The first song I thought of was an oldie I used to spin at the radio station I worked for, for several years. It reminded me of my life with my husband and to this day, it still does. Thanks to my hubby, for carrying me through this trecherous, scarry and excrusiatingly painful day. Even on days like today when crying seems to be the general response for dr. appt., walking, breathing...well you get it. I listened to this song again and it made me smile. It's by a family named The Wilkinsons (a Dad and his daughter and son) and the name of the song is called:
FLY (the Angel song)

Sometimes I swear I live with an angel
Sent from above to watch over me
He wears his love just like a halo
If he's not an angel, what else could he be
He wouldn't say he's anything special
Betcha that's how all those angels are
But when he comes around miracles happen
I felt the first one when he touched my heart

Though I've never seen him fly
On the wings of love he carries me
Heaven bound I'm mystified
How with just one kiss he made me
Believe in angels
Though I've never seen him fly

This mornin' he walked up
Smiled and I kissed him
I never let on that he's not foolin' me
But I think it's so cute how he says
He's from Houston
I swear there's wings tucked up his sleeves

Though I've never seen him fly
On the wings of love he carries me
Heaven bound I'm mystified
How with just one kiss he made me
Believe in angels
Though I've never seen him fly

Heaven bound I'm mystified
How with just one kiss he made me
Believe in angels
Though I've never seen him fly
I'm called Cat, but as there are few other Cat's on here, I put the number of cats I have and combined it to spell out Catz4
