trapped gas pains

I was wondering  can lortab help trapped gas pains? 
im dxed with  herniated discs,fibromylagia , scolosis,ddd,athritis, spinal stenosis ,gerd,gastric ulcer,gastroparesis..gallbladder removal 3/23/10.
 
meds,ambien, prilosec otc,lortab ,reglan,flonase and  trazodone.

Hey Kimber....

Someone might know better than I do...but I would assume w/ Lortab being a narcotic... that it might make things worse than better. But that's just my thought....

I know how bad that pain can be. I hope it gets better soon for you.

Kimber, It seems that a Percocet will help me with that type of pain, although I take it for my surgical pain. I really am not sure about the answer to your question though, but just that it does help me.

Kimber, IIRC, the only thing that REALLY helps trapped gas is walking and motrin. Most of the trapped gas is in the abdominal space, not within the confines of the digestive track. It needs to get reabsorbed into your system, and then you'll burp or toot it out. From what I remember from my lap chole (and my husband's two lap surgeries), they said to take motrin and walk, walk, walk. YMMV, of course.
DDD (4 levels- L2-3 thru L5-S1)

yeah im taking motrin with my pain meds . I am walking as much as possible.

I am going to see if hubby will pick up some peppermint tea at the store tonight . I have heard that peppermint teas helps gas pain. I am having severe upper stomach pain from the trapped gas.
