Kimber you might try eating cooked carrots and rice as well. I have read that they may help with gas.

Kimber, I"m so happy you're starting to feel better!! Keep walking as much as you can and swing your arms a bit if possible...it will help that trapped gas escape.

I'm so glad you got a good night's sleep too...isn't that the most wonderful thing!

hugs,
Pam

Hi Kimber   I know we don't know each other yet, but I'm glad you're feeling a bit better today.  I'm sorry you're a slow healer.  It's so good that you got a good night's sleep.

I had my gallbladder taken out some year's ago.  I was a lucky one with that in that I healed really well.  I didn't have that much pain with it.

Hugs and I hope you feel better day after day.

Kimber-
It's good to hear things are starting to get better for you. If you figure out anything for the gas pains please let me know. I always have a hard time with that and pain meds don;t seem to touch it.

Take care,
Bill

Bill, walking has helped my trapped gas feeling but made my other post op pain worse. I also find drinking peppermint tea has helped the gas pain. I still have the gas pains but it is getting better. I hope you find something that helps you.

Kimber, I'm so sorry you're having so many issues post surgery! I have probably missed some posts in the past few days because I haven't been on much lately, but does your doctor have any ideas to help you with your pain?
