I have been feeling quite lousy and also have a lot of stuff going on with doctors and disability forms this past week, so I hadn't been paying close attention to the forum for the past few days, and apparently missed something....?

But now I've read a lot of posts about how the forum has "changed" lately, and how old-timers don't post anymore, and how people have decided to leave, etc.

Please don't misunderstand what I'm going to say here.....I'm not one of these people who thinks that EVERYTHING is about them! LOL!

But I am fairly new here, and, like Kimber and Flower123 and other "new" people, I just want to say that if I've done anything wrong, posted anything inappropriate that may have contributed to making people feel like the forum has "changed", please accept my apologies. And if I have blown it I hope someone will be kind enough explain it to me in words of one syllable (I'm swimming in brain fog here) so I don't do it anymore.

I really really appreciate the wonderful supportive people on this forum and it grieves me more than I can say that there are such things happening here right now (long-time members leaving, etc).

RetiredMom, please don't leave!

Very sadly,
JoAnn

Nasalady, you are just fine the way you are. It will all smooth soon enough. Keep posting, and replying. I know it has been very odd lately, but I hope Pete will get to the bottom of all this.

He will be getting a report I'm sure of it.

Joann, don't worry about it. I haven't seen anything you have posted that would warrant any type of apology.

As far as "Old Timers" not posting as much there are a lot of reasons for that, and quite frankly it usually has nothing to do with anyone else.

Usually it comes down to being too tired, too busy, or hurting too much and being too grumpy to want to post.

Thanks Jim....I'm glad to know that I haven't caused problems but thought I should ask! I did get chewed out once on the Fibromyalgia forum for posting and answering questions about Lyme Disease, even though Lyme Disease can trigger fibro I'm not supposed to talk about it there. So I thought I might have screwed up again.....

I can definitely relate to all of those reasons you listed for people not posting! Thank you for taking the time to reply! :-)

JoAnn, I remember when you posted about Lyme and I thought it was fine. You were just trying to warn someone that they should get checked, you didn't lecture or go overboard. I got chewed out once there for saying I didn't believe someone should be donating blood while they were waiting for a Lyme test. It happens.

I hope you feel better soon, brain fog stinks.

Dagger, thanks so much for your encouragement and well wishes! I do tend to get carried away at times and I know that's what the mods are here for.... :-)

Yes, brain fog definitely stinks!
