I am having horrible pain after I fell last night.  Its not the first time I have fell or I am sure my last but surely the worst.  Am spasming from my neck to my back in kinda a spiral all down one side.  I took a fall that knocked the wind right out of me,was in the dark and felt for something to get ahold on,missed it and down I came.  I thought surely Jay would have heard me hit the floor but after calling him for what seemed like forever, I knew a had to get up and put myself to bed.  But when I tried later to get out of bed, the pain hit and now if feels like I ripped every muscle on my right side.  I have been gimping along all day and now I am so tired but cant to sleep for the pain.  I even took an extra Baclofen and Norco but hurt so baddddd.  Please say a prayer this lessens by tomorrow. I know its just pulled muscles but dang....

I am so sorry Karen!

I wish I had incredible words of wisdom, but I can only wish you no serious problems from your fall.

After reading your bio, I would highly recommend you get checked out! Falls can be so serious.

Karen,
have missed you around here...
so very sorry about the fall, but you should go to the doctor to get it check and maybe x-rays...
you could've sprained something and those can hurts more than a break and remember to
use ice on the side you fell for the first 24 hours, ice is supposed to help...
keep us posted as to how you are...

Hello Karen! I certainlly agree with retiredmom, and Chartreux, in that you need to get checked out as soon as you can. That must have been a terrible feeling of helplessness when it happened.

I hope you get better quickly.

  Dear Karen,

Good morning *hugg* I am glad you stopped by. I have often wondered how you are and what you have been up to. !!But goodness!! I am so sorry that you fell. And worse! No help.

I know you more than likely wont want to go to the doctor, but if the pain persists or gets worse, please consider going in for a quick once-over. You may very have done more than just pulled a muscle.

I hope that you can find sleep at some point. You must be terribly exhausted right now. Take care, and stay stong. You are in our hearts and prayers!

*hugg*
