Morning all,

I have started to do AquaFit this past month with a girlfriend and boy, does that ever help me feel better afterwards!!!

I can't always do what the instructor wants, but if I can't, I just "jog" in place in the water. It feels so soothing to be moving and stretching without all the pressure on the joints and muscles. I always ache afterwards, but it's a good ache on top of my regular pain. I almost always sleep well on AquaFit days!

My GF and I are trying to go 3 days a week - Mon. and Wed. in the evening and Sat. in the morning.

I hope everyone else has a great Saturday with as little ick or owie as possible.

hugs,
Pam

Hi MsBunky. I'm happy that you have something that helps you. I often forget that being in a pool really helps and it's great exercise. Have a wonderful time!!!

Hugs,

Flower

Hey Bunky Booh! That sounds like a great idea! I think I will try to hit the pool this next week.

We have one close by, and I'm good friends with the directors that run the place, as I used to take all of their sports photos for them.

Excellent reminder for me! Thank you!

hello,

I just started aqua aerobics at the YMCA last week... go back on Tuesday for the second time. I felt funny because most of the people (all ladies and one man) are senior citizens. But it did take my mind off the pain and I felt good for a few hours until I got to work and had to sit around like a stone for my entire shift.

Let me know how you like it. I feel funny about it, like I said. I wish I could run up a mountainside instead or go ride my bike 50 miles. But I'm not well enough for any of that right now and might not be ever again. Who knows. For now I will try to enjoy wading with the ladies.

Oh I can't wait to start my aquafitness classes. I have done them many times before and when I was pregnant.
Right now I am waiting for our brand new gym to open which will be in mid Sept. Hubby and I both signed up. The facility is going to look pretty posh too. The women will have their own pool and then there is another pool for men and women for swimming lengths. There is so much more even. We got in on the sale. The payments are decent too since we go in on the payment plan.

happy aquafitness to all
