Hello Kimber! I wanted to see how you were getting along now, as I have not seen a post from you in a little while.

Is it getting better?

DDD (Degenerative Disk Disease) S1-L4-L5, Heart Attack 2002, Angioplasty to clear blocked Artery and to implant Stent. Six Epidurals, Disocgram, Melanoma Cancer 07, Lumbar Fusion March of 2010, Four cortisone injections Tendinitis in Elbow.

Hi SE, I am ok the surgery pain is getting better . I am still sore and if I do too much I swell but other than that ok. The pain meds seem to be taking the edge off the pain. What I am dealing with the past few days is muscle spasms in my back. Im hope its just the rain moving in . How are you doing? Are you back to work yet? Thanks for checking on me . I hope you have a lpd.


im dxed with  herniated discs,fibromylagia , scolosis,ddd,athritis, spinal stenosis , spinal blockage ,gerd,gastric ulcer (2008), pernicous anemia , folic acid anemia and gallbladder removal 3/23/10.
 
meds: Ambien, prilosec otc,  ibuprofren,Ultracet, folic acid , b12 injections, zyrtec and benadryl.
 
Just added : folic acid supplement  1 mg a day for the next year and also b12 injections increased to once a month. pernicous anemia and  Folic acid anemia.

Well that good news to hear!, and I'm sure it will continue to get better as time goes on. I guess you are indeed a slow healer! :)

I, myself am doing much better, but I do have my days, when I just don't feel good. I will be back to work this Monday.

Do you really think the weather has an effect on you're back spasms? Have you tried a heating pad?

We certainly don't need anything else wrong in our lives do we! :(

Yeah I think so I havent had back spasms in a long time . If they continue will ask about them maybe I need to go back on a muscle relaxer. I hope works goes well for you on Monday, Take it slow. I hope you have a lpn.

It's good to hear that your surgery pain is getting better.  I'm sorry you're having spasms in your back.  Ouch.  I hope your back feels better really soon.  I hope you're sleeping well.
