Hello everyone....I haven't been posting that much but I have been around... I'm still taking the same pain meds as I have been...no changes yet. I think I'm a big freakin chicken!!!  Too afraid to do what I tell people to do all the time.  That's typical of me....  The PM Doc increased me to 5 of the 30 mg. Oxy IR's a day along with my regular amount of 120 mg. Methadone....That's what isn't working anymore, but I am so nscared to have a repeat of when he changed me to Morphine last year....I had severe WD'son 240 mg. Morphine that after only 4 days I changed back to Methadone...

I'm still considering changing to Opana ER but I hear so many bad things about it along with the good things that I'm confused....Anyway, onto the real reason for my Post..

Nashville....need I say more?  I live about 14 miles east of Nashville in Mt. Juliet...I used to live in West Nashville, in Bellvue...That place is like a river now.  I'm not sure if you all know about what happened here last week...but most of Nashville and the surround counties were under at least 6-10 ft. of water...my closest friends had to be water rescued out of their homes and lost everything....well, they lost material things.  Some people lost their lives.  I just want to say that if anyone here at HW can help out it would be so appreciated....go to the Red Cross website and it will lead you to where you can donate....money, material items, and mostly blood....  It has been so unreal, I don't know which part of it was worse....the houses or the interstate 24 under 5 ft. of water and knowing that someone was in their car dead for 3 days before we even knew about it....

I know that we all have our own problems to deal with...me included....but this is a great way to forget about our pain...if only for a few hours and help others.  Please consider it....

Thanks so much....

Hi Rhonda:

I am so sorry for what you and your friends and all "Nashvillians" have been through. Thank you for reminding us that there are ways we can help. You and your "neighbors" will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi Rhonda.  My family lives in Hendersonville, just northeast of Nashville.  I saw the article on it on the yahoo page, and I called my mom, and she said that it was really bad in Nashville.  Her church got flooed from all the rain.  I'm sorry that your friends lost their home and everything.  My heart goes out to them.  I hate that all the people lost their lives.  That's horrible about the people on the interstate being there for three days before that discovered them.  Everyone in Tennessee have been in my prayers and will continue to be.  How horrible.
