Do you remember your dreams or tend to forget them upon waking? Do you have any recurring dreams or nightmares? I've heard people say that we don't dream in color. I've got news for them!...lol

I remember dreams when I first awaken but most of it goes away quickly. However there are tidbits that are stuck in my head and won't leave for a couple of days. I have very disjointed dreams in respect to people, time and places. They are all messed up yet no one in my dreams seems to think it's abnormal. My dreams would make a screwy soap operas...lol When I do remember dreams they come in bits and pieces out of nowhere.

And yes, I do have nightmares. For the first 5-6 years after I got away from my ex I would wake screaming 5-6 nights per week and it was always the same...I couldn't get away from this creep. Hubby has taken very good care of me through it all and those have mostly been gone for a long time now. I also have several repeating dreams that are just stupid ones. Don't know what those are about.

So, what kind of dreamer are you? Do you remember them? Have nightmares? Recurring dreams? Or are they just silly like many of mine are?

HHHHMMM , I'm unfortunately a nightmare guy , I don't know why but as a kid I got sleep paralysis a lot sometimes with my face in the pillow it was horrible , that was the beginning of my insomnia .After my girlfriend of 15 years died form a heart attack for the next few years I had torturing dreams where I would see her in the distance and rush like mad to catch her and then the dream would change but my mind would be so let down , I wanted to see her so bad . Thankfully since I started eating healthy its better , I don't seem to dream at all at least I don't remember it and that works for me just fine !! Mikel

   Dear Chutz,

Yes, I have very vivid dreams. And even though I wake on a good night under 10 times and on a bad night 15+ times (that I can remember) I do remember the majority of them all for days afterword. Sleeping is hard for me, no doubt. When I dream / sleep it is all so vivid and so real, the smell, the taste, the feel, the air on my face, water or sand on my feet...that I feel as though I am tired when I wake up. Like I have been through an entire day and it is time to go to bed. Only it is morning time and time to cook breakfeast & wake my little Bumblebees.

Some of my favorite are of me and relatives I barley remember, all hanging out. My great aunt Thelma, my grandmother and grand father, and many other people that I can describe what they look like and feel just as sure as the sun rises that we are all have known each other for ages. Everyone is about the same age. We are all together alot doing all manner of things, parks, in kitchens cooking, traveling through old markets, having coffee together, gardening, building, dancing... Strange no?

Not sure what kind of dreamer that makes me. I guess a silly dreamer? hehe

I have dreams where I know that I'm asleep and I can't move my body and I'm floating up. I am trying to scream for my husband, and many times I am able to and he comes and wakes me. I can't move my body but I know that I'm asleep. My mind is awake-but my body won't move. It's really scary. I hate it. Hate it!
