With all the rain we have been having, you can imagine what it is like, as the weather comes in the pain gets worse and worse, then when it gets here I get a little relief, but then another storm builds and it starts all over again!!! To top things off, we had our precious grandbabies this weekend (ages 2 and 3) and even as much as my husband and son helped, it flat wore me out!!!  I think I have muscles and joints that hurt that I didn't know I even had before! lol!!  Sometimes I can't wait for Monday so I can rest.  I guess I should consider myself lucky, I got laid off work a year ago last April, which gave me the opportunity to file for disability and still have some kind of income, I, of course, have been denied 2 times, and my file was sitting on the judges desk when I went into the hospital and my case worker at the SS office emailed the judge and asked him to put a hold on his decision until I was out of the hospital and had more info...now I am back to waiting....and waiting...and waiting some more.  They told me if he didn't make a favorable decision, that I would have a court date this summer.  I sure hope they hurry, my doc said since I now have proof that I have severe stenosis and it is progressing, they shouldn't deny me.  Something about anyone that has stenosis usually gets approved....don't know how true that really is, but it would be nice!!!

I hope everyone had a good, relaxing weekend! (I just have to get my relaxation come Monday, when hubby goes to work and kiddo goes to school....then it's just me!)  yeah

Hi and I sure do understand what you are going through. We had grandbabies last weekend for 3 days. I loved snuggling that 8 month old every minute and the 3 year old and Papa were buddies the entire time. But like you I'm still may more sore than normal. I have fibromyalgia and the muscles hurt from lifting of any kind...even my coffee cup can hurt my arm...

You and I need a few days of Me time so we can rest and try to get the body we live in acting friendly toward us..lol

   Dear Finally,

Good morning *hugg* I hope you are sleeping-in right now! I have 2 bumblebees and I understand about how busy busy they can be. The day flys by.... And when it is over your sore and tired with a happy heart! Hopefully though you will be able to rest up a bit today.

I think the weather effects my spine and hipps too. Though I don't seem to be much of a difference in pain for me. Im not a tuff person , I just live in a desert..storms are a bit different. I do hope you are able to get atleast a little break in the spring storm season. If I were in your shoes I was be frustraited to no end with the weather.

I hope your SS case goes well. I know for many here there are some that have been fighting for SS for a year or more and all, well mostly all, have been denied repeatedly. Something has to change about the application , approval, documentation of SS. They way it is set up now causes so much pain for most people. So many peoples problems balloon and increase when there is no reason to cause more harm physically or financially. If it were a doctor or business entity that caused unwarranted harm, individuals would have the right to sue. Yet here is a department of government that does it openly, without recourse or justification, and there is justice for those enduring through the process.

...I see this post is getting rather long (and long winded). I do hope your pain eases up a little bit. Hoepfully enough to allow you to rest. You are in our hearts here.

*hugg*

Well, I drug myself out of bed this morning and took my son to school, came home and planted myself on the couch (and the recliner, I have to rotate!) I hurt so bad today I feel like curling up in a little ball, but it would hurt too much!! To top things off, I have the migraine thing going on today. All part of my wonderful back! Lord knows I wouldnt trade my kids or grandkids for anything....They make me smile. It's good to have something to smile about. Evan, my oldest grandson called me after they got home and told me he already missed me! He was mad when they left and was doing his best to convince his mom that he really needed to stay here and take care of nana....dontcha gotta love it! Just 3 more days of dragging myself out of bed early to take my kiddo to school, then it's time to set up camp at the baseball field......at least I have a comfy chair!

Hope everyone has a great day!
