What super-power would you most like to have, and why? I hear the grandkids talking about super-heroes, and magic powers and it makes me chuckle. The little ones truly believe that we can climb walls if we just get suction cups on our shoes...lol

So, if the kids can believe in super powers, then why not us? What super-power would you like to have? Gosh, there are so many possibilities. If I still had young ones at home I would like to have a built in thought detector so I could know what they were thinking when I asked who left the door to the chicken coop open! Gosh, no body did it...it just happened. They were pretty good at covering for each other.

But since I'm at this age the super power I would love to have is to be able to communicate with dogs and cats. I think it would be hilarious what they think of us. I mean owners spend more on a doggie dress than I spend on an entire winter wardrobe! And some dogs have these beds that are suspended like a hammock and others have special steps for getting on the owner's bed! Can you imagine??!! tongue But I want to know what's going on inside that furry soup-bowl.

What super power do you want and why?

Oh, good question!!!

There's a lot of super powers I would love to have - invisibility, super speed, super strength - but I think that that power I'd like to have the most would be teleportation. I'd like to be able to simply "think" of where I want to be and POOF....I'd be there.

As a caveat, I would be able to do this in normal clothes and wouldn't need to wear a special costume!!

Looking forward to the answers!

Wow...what a wonderful thing to think about....me and my sis (damouthy1) talked about this and it is a tough call, but I would have to agree with flying! It is weird, that as sisters but not twins, we share so many things. We both have reoccurring dreams that we are flying or at least floating. Maybe it a way to rise above the pain...anyway....have a great day all and take care of you!

I think it would be fun to have power to control the weather like "Storm" from the X-Men, but I'd call myself "WhiteWitch" with white dressess and white hair, but get very very bright blue eye's..
This is a cool subject....

I'm like Mike.  I would love to be super healer, and also I would like to be able to have a magic carpet so I wouldn't have to fly up very far because I'm scared of heights.

I hope everyone has had a lpd.

You know I am am a tactile type of person I love sculpture, to feel and to touch surfaces, to close my eyes and just use my hands to see with, to create using my hands! I also give pretty good massages too!, and in Nursing on Oncology I had the reputation of making the most grumpy and uncooperative patient happy and pleasant and cooperative, and it was all by giving foot massages or hand massages, and sometimes back and neck massages! Massages were a great way of evaluating a patient, because you could check their pulses and reflexes and the condition of their skin, and all the while talk and get to know your patient while giving the massage! People need that, especially older people, there is allot of feeling and communication that goes into touch! Allot of older people long for that, a hug, a hand shake a pat on the back even, human to human contact. Every time I gave a massage I would think how great it would be if I only had the power of healing with the touch of my hands if I could just heal a patient while giving them a massage like that and take away their pain. Makingf a patient happy and comfortable was important, but I wish I could have done so much more! With the power of healing It really would give new meaning to the saying "healing touch" wouldn't it!!!!

razzle, it's just a fun question for forum members to answer - Chutz has a new question every day for us. It's not a requirement, but it is fun!
