Hi everyone   When it rains it pours it seems.  My husband and I went out today to Walmart to do some shopping.  After we got off the first bus, one of the front wheels of my wheel chair broke off and I got dumped out onto concrete.  My left hand, left knee and left foot got the brunt of it.  My hand and knee hurt so much.  It seems I get to doing a bit better and then something else happens.  I'm almost in tears.  It's just not fair.  My back got a good jolt too I guess because it was hurting and I didn't have any pain pills.  When I got home, I took one and my back feels a bit better.  I hope everyone is having a lpn.  Take care.
love and hugs

Oh my goodness...you poor thing! I'm so sorry! It isn't fair, I agree! I get what you are saying, and feel exactly the same way - things will get better - and then BOOM - something else happens. Shoot, Loretta. I'm just thankful nothing worse happened to you.

I have a feeling you are going to be sore, sore, sore tomorrow (just what you wanted to hear, I'm sure...!). I hope you are resting tonight and taking care of yourself. Let us know how you are doing tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you...

Loretta, I am so sorry this happened to you. If you haven't already, I suggest you have a good cry and get it out of your system. It will truly make you feel better.

On the practical side, are you able to get the wheelchair fixed? How are you feeling today...quite sore I would guess. Take care of yourself and have a day of pure rest.

   Oh gosh Loretta!
Are you alright? My gosh, that is the very last thing you need right now!  smhair   Hopefully right now you are in bed and resting. I hope you are okay and you didnt damage anything too much.
Is your chair repairable? The last thing you need is to have to get a new chair with everything else going on. I do hope you are able to take it easy today. Try to update when you can.
You are in our hearts and prayers here. Stay strong!

Thank you all so much for your love and support.  I am pretty sore today.  My hand seems to be a bit better, but my knee still hurts a lot when I walk.  My wheel chair is repairable.  I called the place that I got it from and they came and looked at it, and are ordering the wheel to fix it with.  Thank goodness because I can't go out without the chair unless I'm just walking to our apartment's parking lot.  I do feel like crying and screaming.  I'm still so frustrated.  I've been resting since I got up only trying to get up when I have to.  My husband has been doing more for me today than he usually has to do.  He's a God send.  I don't know what I would have done without him.
Tomorrow is our 16th anniversary.  I don't know if we're going to be able to do much.  I wanted to go to Niagara Falls.  It's so beautiful there.  We were going to go to Fantasy Island that is am amuzement park but it cost $25 a piece just to get in and ride the rides and we can't afford that right now, so I think we're going to try and go there on the 1st of July when we get another check.
Well, I gotta go now.  My hand is really hurting bad.  Everyone take care.  I hope you're all having a lpd.
