Made ya look!!!!
Well since Chutz is taking the summer off, she could use it...How about just a once a week Koffee Katch...
A different person can do it each week so for this week, I was thinking...

What is your favorite Summer Fruit, and How do you like it (pie, ice cream with sugar or plain..ect...)
and if you have a recipe for your fruit well, share that as well.......

"Watermelon" is my favorite summer fruit and I like it around the 4th of July and usually with my daughter,
we kinda make it a daughter, mom thing or time...

So Welcome and posts a reply....come on y'all...Summer Starts tomorrow....

My fav fruit are pears. I just love them. I try to eat one a day. Don't know if they are a summer fruti or not, but I do love them very much.

Thanks for posting this koffee klatch. You can do it more than once a week as far as I'm concerned. I look forward to these topics. So, I say, go for it!!!

Great idea, Chartreux!

But to choose one summer fruit for me is really tough! Our summers here are so short, and the season for each fresh fruit is equally short, so every couple of weeks I love a different one.

Right now I'd have to say strawberries, but there's a long list to follow! And as for how I like to fix them, if they're good and sweet I just like to pop them in my mouth plain! Also cut up and over vanilla ice cream on occasion - if there's any left after I've popped most of them in my mouth! smilewinkgrin turn

Oh gosh, I LOVE fruit. I don't know if I can choose... Fresh strawberries are AMAZING (I picked 15 lbs of them the other week), but I love peaches, blueberries, raspberries, cantelope, watermelon, mangos... and the list keeps going...

Well I have been picking fresh Raspberries every day for the last couple of weeks and I just love them! I have a fairly nice patch of them on the side of my garage, and to me nothing says summer like eating big red raspberries right off the cains! But later on it will definitely be peaches, nothing absolutely beats a fresh fully ripe peach right off the tree! With the juice just dripping off of your chin and whiskers! And then of course there is the fresh peach cobbler and fresh peach pie, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm it just can't get any better than that!
