If you are new to this forum family then you may be wondering what kind of goofy question is that on a health care forum. idea We all suffer with medical conditions and with most of us there is pain involved...sometimes a lot of pain. Or maybe you are the loved one of one of these persons. This forum is all about how we help and support each other, how we gain back more quality to our lives, and how we can learn and share what we gain along the way and hopefully make not only our lives better but the lives of others who come to join us.

But we need to also remember that there is the other side of life...the side that isn't concentrated on illness and pain. That's why we started the daily Koffee Klatch. This is a time to laugh, reminisce, chit-chat about the silly things in our lives...all fun things and no pain. In fact the 'P' word is not allowed... tongue So each day we share our thoughts or experiences on a different topic. Often it includes food, sometimes we talk about our past, and other times we just get goofy! Laughter is our goal. So, please join us whether this is your very first day on Healing Well or you're a seasoned veteran.
(Chutz, we sure hope you are doing okay. We all miss you alot!)

Well, it is wednesday. Not the beginning of the week, but not quite the end of the week. *sigh*

Today is a good day to help Miss Chutz out a little bit.  I had a thought that perhaps it would be nice to give her some new ideas for future Koffee Klatch questions. So add in your 2 cents today.

Do you have good ideas for Koffee Klatch? Word games? Trivial persuit type questions? Serious subject matter? Uplifting ideas? Common, help out! What are YOUR ideas?

The thing I've had the most fun with in these ''Klatches'' is when we do a story by stating a string of sentences where each poster adds his creativity to the story . I know we've told some great , funny , off the wall , crazy stories .But they've all been fun . I would suggest picking one day a week as ''Story Day '' , where we can let out creative/fun sides come out . One person would start it by saying something like '' When I woke up I noticed that ther was a package on the porch , as I went to open it ......'' Then the next person picks it up and adds a line or two .I enjoyed this anyway , don't know for sure if other folks did but it seemed so . I hope that helps .

I love the story day idea! I think that is great! Unfortunately, I am kind of foggy today and can't come up with ideas, normally this would not be so difficult for me! I am usually pretty creative, but not lately. Maybe creative uses or tips to do with things you normally would not think of. Like putting vapor rub on the bottom of your feet helps a cough much more then on your chest....I don't know, that is the best I can come up with right now!

Take care!
