Well Ive had my legs bothering for the last 4 days.  I thought it was just reg swelling from the heat and then they started too hurt real bad and then they looked just like my Mom gets all the time and I knew.  Went to docs yesturday and he confirmed it and now I am back to laying down with this goop on me waiting for the pain to ease.  I had  never had this before but should have know it was something like this with my having diabetes.  So now I have to be very careful or Ill end losing a leg.  Man my Mom has had this an ended up in the hospital, so I have to think like one of the pain forum family has said.  And this too shall pass.  Hoping you all are having a low pain day.

Hug's,
Karen

   Dear Karen,

Good morning *hugg* It is always good to hear from you. Though, goodness, it is terrible that you have to deal with cellulitis on top of everything else. And even worse, in the dead middle of summer. Jeeze. I do hope you were able to catch it in time before it did too much damage. You are in a very hard position with your diabetes. Let us know how the first few days of treatment goes. Most of all, please hang in there. Remember you are always in our prayers here.

*hugg*

Karen I hope you have your legs elevated as well. I am not sure what this goop is you are speaking of for your legs. I get cellulitis in both of my legs quite frequently and end up on IV antibiotics. I am wondering why your dr did not put you on oral ones. Keep an eye on this stuff because yes you can end up in the hospital, I did an 8 days stint because of it. Take care.
