Hello Everyone
I just joined healwell yesterday and thought I would pop in and say hi. I live with RA and am in some kindn of pain all of the time. I do remicade every eight weeks. I try and stay busy. I look forward to talking with all of you here on the forum Take care and I will be back soon. :-)

(I gave your post a title so more people will come by to say Hello)

Hi Morning Joy!

And welcome to the CP family. This truly is a family type of atmosphere here as we look out for each other. I'm sorry that you are having to deal with RA as I'm told it's a miserable disorder. Like many I have OA and that's bad enough. I also hang out at the Fibromyalgia forum since that's another side dish I garnered over time.

Do you have a good doc who is willing to help you with pain management? There is no need to suffer if you have a good team of health care specialists. That doesn't always mean taking pills but it can be in any form that is compatible with your desires. I doubt any of us will ever be 100% pain free but we can have the pain reduced to a point where we can enjoy day to day living and have a rich life.

Nice to meet you and I hope to see you a lot in here!

Welcome to Healing Well Chronic Pain Forum!  Well it is no fun to be in pain all the time, and I am sorry that you have to experience that! But I am glad the you found this site! I think you will find, like so many of us have, that this site, has some of the most caring and compassionate people that you will find anywhere on the internet! We all have one thing in common that we share, and that is chronic pain!  So when you come to this forum, you are not alone! You are among friends that can truely empathize with you and understand what it is like to have pain and to have to live with it 24/7 and what affects it has on you, and they way  you live your life! And although we can not fix or heal you, we can give you our ears and attention, and listen to you, we can share in your frustrations,  your times of being down, and also the good times! What ever you want to share with us! When you are really hurting and frustrated  with your pain this is an excellent place to come and vent, and hopefully it will lighten your burden and just maybe make things a bit more bareable for you!
Again I Welcome you to our fourm and our family here at Healing Well! I hope that you will post often and become an  active member of our family!
