Hope your Monday will be a good day for all. I was going to type "great day" but I hesitated. It just seemed a bit contrite considering the situation we are in but as I gave it more 'sink time' I decided that we CAN have great days!

What do YOU consider a "Great Day"? Is it a peaceful day at home, a day with someone you love or is it a day when your pain level is at it's lowest? Great Days for all of us are likely to be very different. For me a great day is spent with Hubby. This morning was absolutely wonderful. The two of us were outside together repainting/staining the deck. The weather wasn't too hot and the two of us had a chance to really talk and joke around without any interruptions. OK, just one when SIL came to pick up something. The two of us don't have to go anywhere or spend any money because quiet time spent with Hubby, when I have his complete attention and he's in a fun and chatty mood, that's what makes a Great Day for me.

What makes a Great Day for you?

Ahhh, a great day! What a blessing those are because they can be so very rare.

A great day for me is a day when I am with my sons and my fiance and the boys are peaceful. When they get along we can all work together and accomplish great things, even if it is only playing a video game and spending time together!

   Dear Chutz,

Just about any day I am with my family are great days. The ones I really cherish are the lazy snow days. Everything quiet and the whole town is at a stand still. Thick aromas of hearty soup all day. Everyone in fuzzy socks wrapped up in blankets. Family game or a good book..... Yepp! Those are the best!

A great day for me could be one spent alone with hubby just puttering around the house, or we're out with friends enjoying a firepit and a good glass of wine, all of us laughing and having fun. Really, a good day is any day where pain is not at the forefront of my mind.
