i went to doc appointment yesterday i explained everything i was going through i explained how i didnt feel my regular meds werent working as well as they should be so she is sending me for a new MRI i guess it;s been since 2008 since the last time i had one done she said we will continue to have regular MRI scans done from now on to make sure there are no major changes in my condition. im please with that. Also she wants me to try taking the hydromorph everyday twice a day i think and less tylenol since im at the maximum i can take of the tylenol she explained that 4 hydromorphs at 3mgs are equivalent to the 8 tylenol a day im taking. and it;s a longer lasting narcotic so we are going to try this for a month and see how things go. We talked a bit about surgery but as i imagined there is a fine line as to surgery is even condsidered and im not there yet. Also she said that even if i did have one area that requires surgery i would still have other mutiple areas that are troubled so have to wait till the new MRI gets done. Hope all has low pain day will keep ya all posted ((Twiggy2))

Sounds like your appointment went well, and it's good that your
getting up to date MRI's as things like back pain can worsen, but
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and maybe ask about emg testing
to make sure there is no new nerve damage...take care and keep
us posted...
Lots of soft healing hugz, prayer with you2....

thanks i hope they turn out well to. i wonder what nerve study would say never had one before but sounds like a good idea maybe i'll get on after the MRI. She really is a good doc i was a bit scared to tell her and i think that was another reason it took so long to tell all what was wrong but after we talked i felt better. i think maybe i will start keeping track of my daily pain levels again this way both the doc and can use it as tool to monitor things better. she also wants me doing physio but have to wait because i cant afford private theropy its been over a year i was on the wait list and shes aware im waiting so we'll see. Lots of gentle hugs Twiggy2
