As some of you know, I have been having issues with kidney stones, on top of everything else. The first one has passed on the left side. That side has two more that are small enough to pass. Once that was done, I had a few good days and stayed busy. wink Then I began to have pain on the right side, which has a stone of its own as well. Now that one is on the move.....Oh JOY! eyes Imagine my surprise when the doctor's idea of dealing with them is to wait and see what happens.

I understand why we wait, but does this man have any idea how painful they are without any chronic issues? Does he have any clue what it feels like with adhesions on my ureters? Obviously not. So I wait. Some days are good, other days are miserable. Trying to take the days one moment at a time and take it easy.

But my Mary Kay consults are taking off. I never thought people would be interested, and so far they have all come to my home for their facials. Even the party coming up for my niece is being held here. It helps so much, and I can sit to do the facials and still have social companionship. Honestly I havent sold a thing yet, but have made friends who have plans.....Small goals right?

I hope the time waiting goes by fast for you and I think it's cool that
you can do a home business with the Mary Kay..That sounds good that
you have something to do, I'm not good with make up and have a hard time
trying to get a good matching foundation and usually end up looking
whiter than casper the ghost...
Good luck with the Kidney stones, hope it passes soon for you..

Thank you all for being so supportive. There are so many days that are bad enough that getting what has to be done finished is just too much and checking the forum isn't possible, but you are all in my thoughts every day.

Chartreux, I had the same problem with the foundation! Add to it that I love to be outside, even when I hurt, so there are times that darker foundation is needed. I am more into the skin care line, and am attempting to teach the many teens in my neighborhood how to take care of their skin, and that a little of everything goes a long way. It makes me feel good to make them love their skin, and have confidence that they are beautiful with or without makeup.

Beckey and Suzane, thank for the well wishes. Hopefully it will be quick! The agony has to end sometime.

Hugs tongue

Mindy. I am so sorry that you have to go through this. When I worked in the hospital as an LPN I saw several times how kidney stones can bring even big burly tough guys to their knees from the pain. I truly sympathize with you and am amazed that you have the energy and strength to be so busy with your Mary Kay business while dealing with that much pain. I think you get the "I am Stronger than My Pain" trophy for the week :) Please take care and I will hope for you quick passage other that stone. Lisa
