Sunday is a wonderful day to think of getting away from out troubles so today we're going to take a virtual trip. What landmark in the world would you like to see one day? Maybe you'd like to see the Grand Canyon! How about
the Pyramids of Giza? Or maybe your adventurous side wants to canoe the fjords of Norway. Today you can travel as little or as much as you like because on our trip there's no pain, you are there in an instant and the trip is on me...lol! So what place is somewhere you've longed to go?
I have a list of a few places I'd love to visit. Number 1 for me is an entire state...Alaska! But since it's not May (and the mosquitoes are the size of small dogs this time of year) I think I'll go on to #2. I would love to visit Ireland. The cities aren't of interest to me but I will rent a car and travel the back roads and wander through the countryside with a camera, a picnic and my best friend (hubby). The scenery there is so lovely and takes you back to more simple times. The stone fences and pastures of sheep are peaceful and so beautiful. Ya, it's a bit strange but that's where I'm going on our trip today.
Where would you love to go?

Long ago back in the 80's I earned my Pilot's licenses. Oh what fun that was for me, and a great sense of accomplishment...as they don't just hand those out.
If I had one place to travel at this moment, it would be in the Air!......free as a bird....and the ability to marvel at this wonderful world of creation.
A heart attack and pain meds for CP put a end to that dream of flying once again. I can only hope that someday my wife and I will be able to attend the Balloon Fest in New Mexico,
and hitch a ride! :)
I had to come back and say what I would really like to do is.....find a place where all of us could meet face to face! Yes ALL of us! :)
That would be a blast to say the least! :) Just to touch a shoulder....and shake a hand....or grab a hug....share our stories! Wow what a Dream that would be!
Yep!...that is what I would do! We are all Brothers and Sisters of the CP forum.

SE, I love your idea!!! Wouldn't it be lovely if we could all get together with our spouses and have a grand gathering!!!
If I could travel anywhere or be anywhere right now, it would be one of two
1. On an Alaskan Cruise/Train Tour thru Alaska
2. Club Med in a tropical
location for 2 weeks.
I have travelled all over the US - starting as a precocious teenager who slipped across the Canadian/US border illegally at 15, and again at 17, where I hitch-hiked around the country. Alaska and Hawaii are the only two states I haven't been to, and I've been to all the Canadian Provinces except Nova Scotia, PEI and Labrador/Newfoundland. I was a crazy wild teenager and did a lot of things between 17 and 20 that would have most people shaking their heads. Those are the two things though that I've never experienced, so that would be my dream.
